Spring Bay Hotel - Pub in Triabunna Tasmania

CAMPING - We stayed here for 2 nights for our trip to Maria Island. The bar staff were so friendly and accommodating. The campsite was clean with public toilets available 2 mins away whenever the bar was closed. We did not use the showers at this location so cannot comment on these.
It is a 3 min walk from the ferry port and there are food options the bar or a fish and chip van by the bar with delicious fresh fish! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Thank you for letting me to stay at the parking area for 3 nights! It is a very peaceful community and area. You can access most of the essential within 5 mins - 1 min to public toilet (CLEAN!), 1 min to Maria Island ferry, 5 mins to the coin laundry and shower center and IGA, 20 steps to have beers and dinner at the hotel! I had dinner at the hotel at my last night, ordered their special, Eggplant Parmi, and it was the best Eggplant Parmi I've ever had.

Thankyou for a fabulous spot to stay. Parked behind the hotel making it very easy to have a few drinks at the bar and a game of pool with the locals. We walked from our camp to the Maria Island ferry. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We booked in for a meal (4 of us) each ordered something different and we cleared our plates. Meals were large and delicious. Best steak I've had in a while.
Would highly recommend staying here if you are self contained. Donation required. Thanks again.

My experience is not so much about the hotel itself, since it was closed when we arrived, but the free place at the back of the hotel. We drive a camping car and as soon as we arrived, we got told by an old man next to us that the "owner" (who was not there for two days apparently) did not like people parking there. He wanted us to park in the middle of the ground...strange attitude towards strangers as he was obviously not connected to the place...or was he? Too bad, we were gonna give a 30 dollars for one night stay to the honesty box to support the local fireemen. Instead we moved across and paid 10 dollars a night.

Fantastic small town hotel, everyone working during our stay were very friendly and helpful! The room was perfect for us, real old school, but clean and spacious! The shared area upstairs is really nice and we really appreciated the unexpected cereal and toast left available to us for breakfast 😀 the dinner was really good too and great variety on the menu! Desserts were tasty too 😊
