Fuel more expensive and terrible service.

Clerk scanned our drinks a few to many times and over charged us.
Upon realisation sitting back in the car 1 minute later we went back in for a refund on the phantom drinks and were told that we were charged correctly.
The male clerk was rude and after 10 minutes of back and forth, being told several times we were wrong we got a refund.

Would avoid. Just get fuel in Port Augusta and Glendambo or Coober Pedy where it is cheaper.

Delicious sausages and mash . Extremely generous helping best I have had in a long time. My husband enjoyed his very generous serve of fish and chips. Very clean . We had visited Woomera before lunch only a few kilometres down the road.

Stopped in a few days ago and was greeted by great staff and atmosphere. Had dinner that no surprise was also fantastically yummy. Got chatting to a bloke in the restaurant and unbeknownst to me at the time it was Tommy 9OH. What a wonderful time we had there chatting away and he even gave me a bumper sticker for my car ??'?. Tommy himself told me he frequently stops here for a succulent meal

Located at Pimba on the Stuart Highway. This is a great stopping place for travellers. The food is reasonably priced, plentiful and cooked well. There is a shop with basic essentials.
Toilets are inside and outside the building also.
You can park your caravan/RV and stop the night. Room for truckers to park for the night also.
And importantly, you can purchase fuel

We did an overnight stay here on our way up to Darwin. Huge flat area for parking a caravan and clean toilets available and coin showers. The meals are excellent - we all had huge schnitzels. A good array of supplies if needed also. Well worth the stop.

Stopped here on my way up to the territory. A recommendation from a mate. As far as roadhouses go, truly a cut above. $5 donation a night to camp, gold coin for a shower, good clean toilets and a cracker bacon and egg sandwich! Dare I say one of the best in the country

Great Road house. Lots of great items for emergency car care as well as great food options for the middle of the outback. Coffee was also really good considering the location. Better then some Melbourne cafes

We availed ourselves of the caravan parking area after fueling up. The van park is $5 per night. No power or water.
Showers $2 , water $1 per 5 litres.
Safe and secure place to stay.
The Road house atmosphere I found a bit off putting, so we had dinner and wine at "home".

I just had the best Scotch Fillet of my entire life, and for that alone, they get 5 stars!
Friendly staff, great atmosphere. Community spirit and happy vibe among the overnight caravaners. Good fun stop over when there's not much else on a long stretch of road. Well stocked shop. Thumbs up!

Great meals have been had by our group over the past two weeks, without fail. Steak, Schnitzel all great with chips and salad, or with veggies.
Customer service is fantastic.
Also has heaps of travelling accessories and necessities. Hot take away food.
You must make Spuds a required stop

Toilet shower flat area. More like a commercial servo than an outback roadhouse. Just had a weird feel. Gaming room was a first on this trip. Beer was cold and refreshing. Coffee was not so, but it is a lo g way from anywhere so they probably service the machine as best they can. Showers are great 2 ?- 1$ coins. If you are on a budget, go in together and you can both have a 3min shower fro $2. They run for ages. Enjoy. #Trek2reconnect

Nothing but love for Spuds. Accomodation was basic but clean and you had everything you needed. The service was great, fantastic food and great bar. The sunset and sunrise is a thing to behold over the red dirt. Well worth a overnight stop. We will be back. The photos are from Dinner and breakfast.

Good place to stop for fuel and food. Only two 95 unleaded pumps and one gas pump, the rest are diesel. Lots of sitting room inside and out. Good toilets and coin operated showers. Can get a little noisy at night because it's a free place to spend the night and it's close to the rail line and freeway. If you stay the night you do have hot food and coffee in the morning to get you going again. Definitely would stay again if it was on my travels.

Great service staff, food was really nice (the kilpatrick is AWESOME) and overall a really decent place. Rooms are nothing to write home about in terms of looks or decor, but they're very clean and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall would 100% recommend to anyone travelling through, needing a nice place to eat and hang their hat for a night or two. Can't go wrong with Spuds!

My partner and I come here to get out of roxby for a cple of hours for lunch.
Every meal we have had has been delicious
Today we had burgers. My partner had the big go burger and I had the go burger. Cheap food that taste good. If u want chips u do need to ask for them but the burgers were enough for us. Great stop off to brake up a long distance drive.

What a fantastic place to find in such a remote area. I was a little apprehensive about going here after reading some of the reviews but I honestly think people should stop and think about all that is available such a long way from home.
Staff were friendly and helpful, food was good, room was clean and comfortable.
What more could you ask for.

I had an average one night stay in an economy room. The only real negative was the very loud air conditioner. As I visited in winter I had a choice of being freezing cold or being woken by the AC turning off and on. Apart from the AC the room was great. A little rough around the edges but bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Staff were very friendly and the meals I had at the adjoining restaurant were good. Overall it was good accommodation just let down by the AC in the room I stayed in.

The food was good, a huge burger at a reasonable price. However accommodation, slightly different. The basic rooms if you can get one are overpriced at $100, should possibly be more like $80 tops. If you go the $20 extra for the deluxe, your in for a surprise. They are portables around the back of the roadhouse. To be fair they are clean and the deluxe also large with a double & single bed, The basic double only and smaller, but both with TV. If you just a bed for the night while travelling then it's ok, otherwise try somewhere else. Woomera is only 6 kms away if desperate or a rocket buff.

Safe place for overnight stop, donation to local association to clean ammenities $5 per vehicle. Ladies showers not working apparently fora while but toilets are clean.. People tend to park in orderly fashion to make most of the space. Handy stop over, road noise not too bad considering its a on popular route.

Good Simple clean rooms with own bathroom. Quite and has even a TV for a super affordable price. Any time again. Suggestion: a few dog friendly rooms were great since so many people travel with dogs.

First time traveling this way & pleasantly surprised.... Lovely friendly staff... Room/Donga very clean & quiet despite being close to the parking lot. Couldn't really fault it considering the location. With somewhere for any sort of traveler to park up for night this place has most certainly saved many lives. A+

Great roadhouse, a bit of everything available. Great meals and happy hour 6-7. Donation caravan parking and rooms available at a reasonable cost. The boss was great and found us a room even though they were just on booked out. Some rooms are being renovated. Great spot to break up the trip.
