My go to place whenever I am in Albury. Extremely dog friendly beer garden (you're not shoved into some back corner if you have a dog) and is the main reasonnwe come here as we don't travel without our dog. Food is good, although sometimes not consistent. The wine is really nice and the best prices. The vibe is amazing. The staff are all lovely, do lovely. The misting machine thingy outside is amazing during the heat wave days. Love the Star Hotel. We love coming here.

Had a delicious 300g medium porterhouse steak with pepper sauce, salad and chips. Salad was really good, was not an afterthought, had a good dressing. Really good chips. House sparkling is $7.50, steak was $39 I think.

The pub has lovely service from the bar staff, smiling and polite. However, food was out so fast we had not even finished our entrees (pictured below). Left feeling super full! (This may be a positive for you) please just give people a few more minutes to savour one course before the next, thank you.

Friendly staff, food was left wanting though. Lamb cutlets well over cooked & the salad could've been left in the paddock for the cows to eat, virtually all green leaves.
Star Hotel Albury is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to midnight. They are also open Sunday from 10 AM to 10 PM.
