I've eaten here several times. Good points: it's a great community pub, staff always friendly and welcoming, worth dropping in for a drink.
Food? I have some issues. Quality is lower than it should be. My scotch fillet steak was gristly and small, overcooked on the outside, pink strip inside (order was for medium-rare). Tough. Probably quickly defrosted in the microwave before cooking. But, $38 for that steak and chips? Astonishing. I pay less in Sydney pubs. I've checked with a few people, this is not an isolated issue. Pub has recently changed hands, they are advertising for a chef. Improvements are expected. I'll report back.
