One of only two pubs in this small cute town, the service is a little slow but food is good ?

There wasn't any tables set service was slow no air conditioning on in the dining area waited 40 mins for garlic bread and then another 20 for main meals and kids meal which should have come out with the entrees. It sounded like they might have been short staffed in the kitchen hence the wait times.

Middle of the day, it was hot. Wanted a beer, service was fast and courteous. It was quiet in there, just a few locals doing the same as me. Clean and inviting. Would return!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Telegraph Hotel in Chiltern, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made me feel right at home.

Now, let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of outstanding. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and expertly presented. I couldn't get enough of the delicious flavors that graced my taste buds.

The ambiance of the Telegraph Hotel is also worth mentioning. It's a charming and cozy place, perfect for a relaxed evening out or a special occasion.

I can't wait to return to the Telegraph Hotel. It's a gem in Chiltern, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

Another great pub meal, I had a Greek Parma, I tend to rate pubs by their Parma's because this is a level field, If you get a great Parma with great service and within half hour, We has to be happy.

Great meals good size and friendly staff and good country pub

We had dinner there Saturday night and it was really nice. Pretty busy but was looked after really well. The food was awesome. Plenty on our plates. Highly recommended.

Where do I start? The meal was laughable. Lamb? It was sliced so thinly that I believe it was from the deli and just covered in a watery gravy. I don't mind el dente but the vegetables were not cooked at all. Where we were made to sit made us feel extremely uncomfortable and we felt a nuisance. Never ever would I recommend the Black Dog Bistro.

Such a great welcoming by the the lovely young lady working there.
The locals that came in were so friendly and funny, loved it here.
Will definitely be back!

Had dinner and a few drinks on Friday night.
I don't mind supporting the local organisations with their raffles, especially the CFA.

Not the most upmarket looking venue inside or out BUT, the lunch meals were excellent. Salmon and honey Soy was delicious. Service excellent and wines local. Very well priced and highly recommended. ???????'?

Food was delicious, service friendly, atmosphere was that of a typical small country pub, service was great considering current staffing issues everywhere.
Would definitely recommend.

good pub has a pool table which i liked and had beer which was also a good thing and good vibes for most of the time the only thing i would change is the indoor roof overall 5 stars and a little glass of beer ??????
