What a great outback pub. Don't expect a wine list, this is simple country service. The food is awesome! Highly recommend the pizzas and schnitty's!

Great pub. The locals were real friendly with conversation as soon as I walked in. Very welcoming. Bar lady very happy and friendly too. Cold beer

Unfortunately think we got him on a bad day. There were 6 of us. It was right on 2pm and we asked if we could get some lunch, were told very abruptly "the chef has knocked off", we were ok with that as it was right on 2pm. We then asked if there was any chance of hot chips? His not very friendly response was "go to the servo 20 m down the street" . I then asked if there was a wine list, his patronizing response loud enough for the other guys sitting at the bar to hear was "yeah you can have red or white". This guy was unable to make eye contact or use any manners at all. Not sure how long he's been a publican but there are several varieties of "red and White" wine ! We did stay for quite a few drinks as we enjoy outback pub hospitality and frivolity but he clearly didn't want to be there. Very disappointing as we had told our friends all about this great pub ! Maybe he was just having a bad day as other reviews appear to be good. We are not difficult people to get along with and I rarely write a poor review as I appreciate times can be challenging and tough and you just don't know what else is going on in peoples lives but it was not a nice experience.

Nice hotel,big beer garden outback,Great steak burger for lunch,Great friendly service, good prices for drinks,food,different way to travel from Wentworth to Broken Hill.PS Didn't stay in rooms
