Called up to make a dinner reservation, and when I arrived was told there was no booking for me. We ended up still getting a table but the service was very blunt. I got a lemon lime and bitters and a raspberry lemonade for my wife. The raspberry lemonade was fine, however the lemon lime and bitters was bitters and lemonade, and was a quarter foam. The food however, was top teir. Nicest dinner we have had on our trip. All in all, go for the food but not the service.

This is a great venue in a great location. The food is wonderful with a fine selection of wines. Our experience was let down by very poor customer service. The bar staff had awful attitudes and really let the place down.

Modest gastropub that offers all the diverse spaces from main bar, beer garden, terrace and even a tiny balcony. The wooden interiors give off an impression of a homely-feel with traditional fireplaces and the beer garden resembling a private backyard. Nicky, Maddie and the team were extremely helpful in moving our group upstairs on short notice during quiet season - great for those wanting to kick on at The Star a stone's throw away!

Last week I hosted my 60th birthday party at The Terminus for 50 people and it was an absolute fantastic experience! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure all of our needs were met. The ambiance of the venue was stunning, creating the perfect atmosphere for my celebration. Maddie & Nicky were both exceptional, offering great suggestions and ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They were both very accepting of any requests I had. Nothing was an issue. The food and beverages were top-notch, with a wide variety of delicious options that all of our guests loved. I am still getting compliments from my guests about how amazing the food was. The venue itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and have a great time. I received so many compliments from my guests about how wonderful everything was. I highly recommend The Terminus Hotel for any event. You will not be dissapointed. They truly went above and beyond to make my party a memorable and special occasion. Thank you to Maddie, Nicky and the staff for making my event a huge success! A HUGE FIVE STARS !!!!!!!

The Terminus Pyrmont is a cool little place, in the heart of a cool little residential neighbourhood, a one-minute walk to light rail, and an easy walk to Darling Harbour and loads of restaurants. The staff is warm and helpful, the room was cozy and clean, and the food at the pub awesome. The only thing was a bit of street noise outside the room, but otherwise we loved our stay. Will stay again!

The food here is cooked right. Menu is simple but tasty. The finish quality from the kitchen is fantastic. The chicken was juicy, thick and cooked perfectly. Service was wonderful and prices are reasonable.

We hosted a couple of Big Zero Birthdays on the deck at the Terminus. Brilliant functions team. Everything was beautifully organised, presented and on time. Highly recommended enjoying an event here!

The staff greeted us with warm smiles, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant boasts lovely decor, creating a pleasant ambiance. With a charming backyard for outdoor enjoyment and soaking up the sun, it's the perfect spot for events and gatherings.

Great place to come for dinner! Check the website for their specials - they have a $32 pork ribs with a glass of wine/house beer special on Thursdays and $30 pasta with a glass of wine/house beer special on Wednesdays. Has a nice upscale pub atmosphere and food is delicious.

We held our daughters birthday here this weekend and it was just perfect. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the room and outdoor area was all just for us, fantastic food and drinks. Absolutely perfect in every way. Would highly recommend as an event venue.

The food was really good quality! We had a large group for Father's Day and the food came out in a timely manner and the service was also very good. The Lamb shoulder and Veal cotoletta were stand outs. Definitely a great little pub for a weekend drink and lunch.

Them - "No, we don't play any sports on the TV except the Matilda's"

What kind of a pub doesn't play sport on the TV on a Saturday night?! No wonder it was dead.

Historic corner hotel in the heart of Pyrmont with two levels, seating inside, out front, and a beer garden out back. Good selection of beer, including their own Terminus Lager.

We have eaten here twice now. Lamb shoulder and Riverine 1kg Rib eye. Each of these dishes where share plates for 2. Both meals could not be faulted. There is a great wine list by the glass, and the beer and cider selection is fantastic. They even brew their own beer, which was a good beer.

Shared dinner with friends recently. Service was excellent, staff being polite and attentive. Food surprised on the upside - grilled barramundi was excellent as was the Shepherds Pie and the lamb souvlaki. A concise but well considered selection of craft beers on tap and a good selection of wines by the glass. Great value when quality taken into account. Ambience was excellent both in rooms upstairs and downstairs in public bar area. Winner! We will be back.

Great food and ice cold beer. Outdoor and indoor the setting is beautiful. Beautiful building with great history. We were there for a Valentines Day special event. The dinner was perfect. Each course was delicious. The music was real good.

Great room for our 2 night stay in Sydney . Pyrmont is such a cute little area of Sydney and was very quiet during our stay . The rooms are clean , have great ducted air conditioning and comfy bed . We stayed in the double room with shared amenities,which I was a bit hesitate about when booking but was great for our stay. Never had wait to use the amenities as there was 3 toilets so was never a problem . Such an affordable price we have already booked again for our next stay in Sydney at the end of the year .

Two lovely outdoor seating areas, great private room with a huge round table at which we sat ten. Tasty food, with a couple of good gluten-free options and lovely staff. Really fabulous local but upmarket pub. Totally recommend.

Standard pub fare with above average service. We had moderate expectations and were not let down. Not expensive for a city pub so close to the star casino, could only hope for now dark beers in future.

Our overnight stay was very comfortable.
Rooms were very clean.
The pub itself has a very safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Decent pub with a good sized courtyard out the back. Excellent food options with quite a big menu. Nice choice of beers too, plenty of craft beers on offer. Pint glasses. Nice staff, fast service. There was jazz on the Sunday afternoon we went in.

Beautiful old pub with renovated interior and elevated pub food offerings. Great atmosphere when it's busy, a bit lack-lustre when it's quiet - but aren't all pubs? Friendly staff, above average prices but well worth the money for fantastic, delicious and unique dishes like the humble fish butty made fancy (British as heck).

This heritage property in the trendiest neighbourhood of Sydney is a jewel preserved from a bygone era. The tremendous architectural and heritage values of Pyrmont for the history of Australia are readily apparent in this local institution dedicated to the legends of industrial development. From power plants to meat-packing houses breathe in all of the history of Pyrmont, this great launchpad of modern Australia. Plus they serve beer, have great menus and super entertaining Food Trivia Nights. This is definitely the place to be seen--or not, depending on who you are.

Have been coming here since it opened (again), love the amazing building and the heritage. The wine list is decent and food used to be fantastic but the kitchen has changed hands recently and is nowhere near where used to be in terms of quality and value for money. I used to make an effort to come here when in the area but probably won't any longer to be honest.

Loved our night here. We've been working our way through the pubs in Pyrmont while we live here temporarily and so far this is our favourite. Great atmosphere, great selection of beers, wines and cocktails. And the food is delicious. Definitely not the pub for an affordable feed, but for a nicer meal and great ambience it's the spot.

There were 7 of us eating a meal here for lunch on a Sunday. We had a mix between meals and a couple of kids meals and we were all happy.
I had the beef burger and loved the flavour. Simple and delicious.
The history of the building is amazing, you just need to search it out.

True 5 star pub! We were staying nearby for a Hamilton show weekend and had dinner last night with friends. It was so good we came back for a great lite lunch today.

Amazing refurbished old pub that has kept a lot of its original features with a huge and no doubt expensive refresh. Staff are a little cold with service I found which is a shame as the drink menu had great options and the food coming out to the tables nearby looked great. Next time must try the food and the small outdoor area.

The food was actually super good and tonight I had a special and couldn't believe it was only $15 for a main. bargain!

Great outside terrace for slightly elevated pub grub. Pie was fantastic (better than Dudley's), Parmesan wheel pasta special on a Wednesday got a thumbs up. Burger and fish fingers less so. The pub itself looks marvellous and the staff were friendly.
