Terrigal Hotel

Came here for the first time and it did not disapoint! We ordered the salmon, angus burger and wedges and all of it was amazing.
Staff were lovely and super helpful will definitely be back.

Awful experience.
We booked a table at the hotel for a Sunday Lunch meal and to watch the UFC and NRL.
When we arrived our table was not available, the staff seated us in the corner with limited view of both events. This was extremely disappointing and to add our food then arrived cold.
Later we ordered pizzas to snack on and were informed the Pizzas are not available. We changed to Tacos, the menu stated a price for two tacos, and any additional was 22$. They refused to honour the additional tacos for 9$ price.
This pub has the potential to be great, but the poor service makes it extremely disappointing.

Food is disgusting and couldn't be eaten. Previously the food was great here, but now I suspect they have contracted it out to the cheapest $$ contractor. Food is way over priced, cheapest ingredients possible to maximise profits, disgusting sickly BBQ sauce on the pizza out of a jar, disgusting past use by date cucumber and shallots in the poke bowl, with bruised, brown avocado. Will be lucky if my wife doesn't get food poisoning. We tried a second time tonight for our fortnightly date night (after my greasy, disgusting fish and chips last time - which I also couldn't eat). There is now no third time. As a Wamberal local, I am so disappointed and embarrassed for our local area which relies heavily on tourism. Will be giving this overpriced cruise ship buffet food a very wide birth, and strongly recommend the same to everyone else considering Terrigal Hotel, or suffer the same disappointed fate.

Food was bang on average. Was recommended this venue from a friend. My wife and I thought we would go for dinner there. My wife ordered the chicken Katsu bowl, there was no cabbage or cauliflower in the salad as advertised. The salad resembled the $5 mixed salad packet from Coles. $22 for 2 soft shell tacos was exorbitant especially considering the size of them and also the fillings inside were extremely basic, low quality produce and presented poorly. The sweet potato fries were served cold and some were still frozen inside. Won't be eating here again.

Lunch time Friday. What's the specials for lunch ? I will have to go ask someone said the one staff member available.,.... Why haven't you got it on display somewhere? ... oh it changes everyday was the answer.
The blackboard was on the bar nothing on it, talk about being prepared for lunch service. This was at 1:15pm. Had to wait around for someone to come upstairs to serve us a drink. If you want to charge $30 plus for every meal you should be able to expect some service. Very poor service, poor attitude of staff. Spaghetti prawns.... 6 prawns in a massive bowl of spaghetti,,, certainly not worth $29......wont be back
