Booth girl was lovely, was my first time in this venue, she explained everything from bathrooms to general bar area and everything in between. Great staff and music and vibes. If everyone has this level of experience I can't imagine wanting to go anywhere else.

This place is horrible. My girlfriend (who is Italian) and I were there to attend one of her friend's parties. She was instantly let in, they barely checked her ID, yet I was refused entry because of my shoes and bag. Upon walking in after changing shoes and removing a bag I found myself paying some overpriced fee. Then, we saw people wearing the exact same thing as myself but yet I was denied entry. The bouncers discriminate against certain people (Racially) and it's not Melbourne-like. Come here if you want to be disappointed:)

DO NOT GO HERE. Exceptionally rude security guards who judge you based on your appearance. Incompetent, judgemental security guards who should not be able to work there as an employee serving to keep the venue safe. As a note, we were able to come in to the venue fine, but their overall treatment was dismal and atrocious for this day and age. We will never return and will continue to share our bad experience.

We were back at the Albion today for another work function on possibly the last day of nice sunny weather on the roof. I discovered the absolutely delicious chips and had a real healthy eating fail. Super impressed with the interior of this space too. Definitely my preferred drinks spot in South Melbourne.

Went with my friend my first time. We were not dressed casual but not fancy.

The security let me in but not my friend which is understandable. That's the rules.

But for our surprise!! I took a look to the people that was around and they were dressing very casual.

Also the security asked my friend's ID before telling him he was dressing too casual.

Zero professionalism! I am Spanish and travel around the world, lived in different countries and It is the first time in long time that I can see an act RACISIM. My friend is from Brazil and he showed his ID, he was told he couldn't get in because he was dressing casual.

Just be aware Brazilian people!!
