Apollo Bay Hotel, Apollo Bay VIC

I don't know what all the restaurants along the Great Ocean Road have against a traditional pub, But Apollo Bay Hotel seems to be the ONLY pub along the GOR who do it right! Sensational steak and my god the parma is out of this world! Great serving size for the price. All the staff were incredible and I couldn't ask for anything better. Travelled a whole 45 minutes from Lorne just for this amazing feed. It's worth the trip!

The friendliest staff and chef, as well as live music and a cool vibe make this gorgeous corner hotel well worth visiting!

I was travelling around town with a bunch of friends and we were after takeaway dips. Dips don't even exist on their menu, though the chef went above and beyond to make me some avocado dip from scratch at 9pm!!

One of the only two restaurants open during the local power outage - thanks for investing on a generator! The service and the food were fantastic! Did not wait long to be seated and served despite the blackout. The food we ordered was cooked and prepared to perfection. The staff were polite and accommodating - excellent customer service! We'll definitely go back when we visit Apollo Bay, hopefully in better weather :-)

We went for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks and out of 5 people we couldn't really fault it. The drinks were good, great Guinness, served right. Food was delicious - we had a great variety. Will definitely return on our next trip. Good ambience with the fire lighting.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. The staff were very accommodating with our large group. The menu was gluten and dairy friendly, which made me very happy. The atmosphere was excellent, and everything we asked for was delivered with excellence. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, even after our long drive from Melbourne with 5 kids for my birthday. The manager(basil brush/Jack) was also very friendly and made a great drink. Overall, we are extremely impressed with the service and the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us.
