Amazing bartenders. Very welcoming.

Tried three different dishes there! All of which were great.

Big shout out to the GARLIC PRAWN PASTA one of the best I've tasted!

Steak was burnt black on both sides and was as tough as shoe leather. Offered to give refund but never eventuated.

Disgraceful experience while visiting this "pub" while in birchip, as options are limited in the small country town there's not much choice beteeen this and eating home I urge anyone reading this to just eat at home so to avoid food poisoning.

Upon walking in you're greeted by a freezer full of undated opened products between the dining area and toilets (should have been a red flag to begin with) you go through an overcrowded bar area and through the back to order, from a limited menu, I'd like to say this was the end of the nightmare, unfortunately not.. over an hour later one main meal for the table came out (before the entrees) while this one was edible the same cannot be said for the following two another hour later though i should be thankful to have received anything after 3 hours the rest of the table still hadn't received their meals and the kicthen was closing, when the owner was asked for information about the delay in food this was met with dismissal and rudeness, eventually 2 more mains came out a parma, now I've had some pretty awful parmas this one however takes the cake, upon cutting into it I was met with the most repulsive pungent smell I've ever had the displeasure of having enter my nostrils, I immediately went back to the bar to return this as I don't fancy food poisoning on the best of days let alone with this, the owners response was simply "f off" upon checking the second meal there was a dry shank - no sauce With a side of sour vegetables that had clearly defrosted and been refrozen, unsurprisingly at this point, the only positive is meals were immediately refunded as it seems to be a common occurrence in this premises, how they haven't been shut down by the department of health is a mystery.

Avoid at all costs.

My 30 week pregnant daughter received a meal with off vegetables while my son in-law received an off chicken Parma..... approached the owner with my concerns and his response was " promise me you will never return"..... not our first issue at this venue but I am appalled with the lack of care and customer service provided..... owner lacked due diligence and showed no sign of concern for patrons health or safety......a number of meals were returned by various patrons due to food being unfit for consumption
