After a day at Arthur River called in for a beer by the log fire and a local feed. Enjoyed scallops (large) followed by sticky date pudding. Abundant staff with attentive friendly service. ( talked me into having the sticky date😊) . Look forward to going back.

The star is for the girls behind the bar they were lovely but I will never eat here again, I ordered a roast lamb dinner dairy free which they said was no problem and would add mint sauce instead of gravy. I was brought a meal full of butter and explain that I asked for no butter so he replaced my meal and then told me there was no mint sauce I spent the rest of the day being ill so the butter was still there. Not nice?

Be warned if you are planning on a meal whilst staying on a Saturday night to book because they will only take a certain number of people at a time which leaves you with terrible Chinese, pizza or timbers.

Asked for table and told that they had too many people even though there were tables free. Advised we were staying at hotel and just got the old Indian smile from the guy and can't help you.

We were not advised on booking that if we plan on having a meal to book.

We ate at The Bridge Hotel and had the Seniors midweek deal, ordering the baked lamb, it was very delicious and. good portion size. Dessert was also yummy and the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Disnt stay at location. Went for lunch at the bistro. Lovely atmosphere. Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Clean fresh tasty fish. No muddy taste (if you're from North Queensland it's your kind of fish). Service was friendly. Ample parking.

We went only to the pub. They didn't have oysters, despite being in the menu, and they didn't have the dessert we wanted. It's a bit disappointing that every time you try to order something they say they don't have it.
I ordered the carbonara pasta from the specials. Traditional Carbonara pasta has pancetta, not ham and it does not have onion. I made the mistake of ordering it with chicken, I thought I'd be one or two chicken tenders but no, it was also mixed in it so I took it out $32 for that ?
Another person on the table ordered the steak with chips and salad with a fried egg. He just got the salad, no chips and no egg.
The service was friendly. In general I don't give it more than 3 stars but it's ok for the price. Would I come back? Maybe not.

A sensational burger, just the thing after a long day on the road. Very friendly staff that made for a great experience and dinner.

This was actually really good.
I don't usually stay in Pub/Motels but this was clean and seemed new and modern.
I didn't leave my boots outside the door as per the sign (Soz to the staff) because the rain was coming in sideways and I like my feet dry in the morning.
The feed (steak) at the pub next door was on point and the staff a little cheeky.
All in all a good one to stay at again.

The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but the bed is really comfortable and the interior of the room is really nice too. The staff that helped us with the check in is nice and friendly, giving us lots of good tips and suggestions.

It's our second time here and we're not disappointed. Clean hotel rooms, nice kitchenette and friendly staff. Tried the $17 special rump steak and it was delicious!

The meal could have been hot was only warm tasty okay as for the venue I love the character of the building inside the gaming great roomy smoking area very wet it was heavy rain could cover in half roof.x

OMG the food is exceptional, portion sizes are definitely fit for a king and worth driving across town or the state for.

Overall would have to say this is the best place in town and would recommend anyone who wants some genuine atmosphere and quality service to come and stay.

We stayed at The Bridge Hotel for 2 nights and ate in the dining room on both nights. The motel room has been modernised and was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and wait staff very friendly. Very reasonably priced. We ate their meringue nest for dessert to celebrate the end of our holiday. It was beautifully presented and melted in our mouths. Compliments to the staff. We would definitely return here again.

We stayed in the hotel room with double bed and shared bathroom. Wonderful! Well maintained older style hotel. Lovely wallpaper. Good hot showers. Great meal downstairs. Very good value for money accommodation and food.

Didn't stay here but now probably should have.Anyone that knows me would tell you i love my old school front bars, and this pub didn't disappoint.After a few pints, we had a feed in the dining room,the meal was massive,had a great time here.Would recommend every day of the week.Well done!!

First time stay. Staff were very friendly and the food was good value and tasted great. We booked the budget hotel room, first room we got hadn't been cleaned, but no big deal just an oversight. Got given another room. For the price the rooms and facilities are great, though we decide to upgrade to one of the motel room for our own personal comforts.

Absolutely delicious food, entrees, mains, desserts, the lot. Large serves (the 'small' or standard serve of the roast is heaps) and really top quality, home made food. Staff very friendly, checking up on the tables regularly, informed and good with kids. Definitely book in advance, this pub is rightfully popular.
