Regretting we haven't gone earlier. We visited for dinner on Saturday night. The restaurant was fully booked, some seating available in the bar area.

Morton bay big slider was amazing.

The chicken Parma also one of the best ones in the area.

Really good selection of specials and highly recommended seafood dishes.

Can't wait to come back!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Clare Castle in Melbourne, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. This restaurant truly knows how to impress, offering a perfect blend of exquisite food, exceptional service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, while the Sunday roast was simply divine, bursting with rich, comforting flavors. The wine selection is extensive, and the chef's recommendations were spot on, pairing beautifully with our meals.

Arranged a catch up with friends for lunch and we stayed for dinner !

What a great pub and the roast was amazing - so much food and just like a really good home made roast meal. There were two roasts to choose from on the day we visited Lamb or beef - most of the group of 10 we were with had roast beef - it was so very good !

The roast had cauliflower cheese, heaps of meat, peas, roast potatoes and pumpkin ...also a Yorkshire pudding - it was so delicious ! I asked the staff for some horseradish and they had it (amazing) and happily brought me some to enjoy with my meal - staff fabulous

So impressed at our lunch and the roast that we have book another group lunch (different friends) this Sunday - just cant wait

The food was excellent and the staff absolutely lovely. As British people we are very picky about Sunday Roast but we were so impressed! Best we've had in 10 years in Australia.
The only negative was that the air conditioning was on quite high which made our food cool too quickly. This may have just been where our table was situated.

I think I have found the best Sunday roast in Melbourne!!! Just the Yorkshire alone will put any pom me included to shame! The beef nicely cooked to perfection, cauliflower cheese yummy, potatoes yummy, gravy well seasoned , Yorkshire....perfect!

Everything about this gastronomic experience is close to perfection! Every bit worth coming and paying public transport because it is outside the free tram zone. Very leafy and quiet location! Clean, well spaced seatings, very nice staffs, just book to save yourself stress as it can be busy. Indoor and outdoor seating, pub and restaurant area.

Price reasonable and had a great time! Will def come back!
