Phenomenal atmosphere and great food. Beautiful beer garden, nicely lit and thoughtful touches such as the fresh flowers on the tables. Barbies Dream cocktail was very nice.

We were in Room 1 over the weekend. The last time I visited, it was just for dinner and a drink with friends. It was too enticing after seeing inside, not to stay overnight and spoil ourselves. The trip was definitely worth it.

The staff were so friendly, and the food was incredible as always. We can definitely recommend the two, mouth-watering beef mains and the desserts, are to die for.

We were spoiled all weekend. We are looking forward to riding there next time and enjoying the fireplace. Well done to the team at the Commercial.

Motorcycle friendly and covered parking.

A couple of years ago, meals were fantastic. This time, nope.
Paying top dollar. Staff wanted to bring out mains 10 minutes after entre were served. Entre was delicious. Mains Scotch Rib Fillet with Truffle Mash. Truffle mash, tasted nice but was cold.
Scotch Cooked nicely but way too much seasoning. Couldn't taste the meat at all.
Saltyer than a corned brisket Cooked by an old salty sea dog, more pepper than what was in the pepper mill on the table.
I think that's why the table has salt and pepper, to season it yourself.

Beautifully restored hotel. We shared the cashew lime mint chicken skewers with beer battered chips. The food was delicious. Drinks were cold, and the wait staff was friendly. Great place to stop for lunch. There is also parking out the back where you can park your van. Great place.

Beautiful interior and excellent beer garden. Very overpriced for the quality of the food. We were disappointed. The menu reads very well but it just didn't deliver. The chef is trying to throw all his tricks at it but unfortunately not pulling it off. The entrees were cold. The kids fish and chips were a joke, one piece of fish the size of a middle finger. Especially when we asked if the portion would be enough. The steak was ok, the sauce should be included in the $47
The duck was chewy. The salad was good!
