Amazing place for some good quality food. sitting outside on the deck comes with heaters and an amazing view of the lake and the houses overlooking the water. only downside is it's busy on weekends and nights that the footy is on so the food takes a little longer to come. and the food is expensive but it's worth it

We had Dinner on last Monday evening and had Porter house steak with garlic butter, was perfectly cooked and the service was excellent as well " very nice ambience and the water front "

Food was okay. It was good enough but not exceptional. Reasonable priced. Great view and service was wonderful.

The weekly quiz may bring customers in but the quality of food won't keep them. They haven't spared much thought about the customers' comfort here. Providing the bare minimum will return a bare minimum of loyalty.

The picture is of a chicken parmagiana, easily the least appealing I have ever had. No garnish, just a plate of chips with a small, dry piece of chicken.

Don't come here if you want a meal.

Very average meals- 3 out of 4 steaks overdone (came out well done when ordered medium rare), side salad was a heap of rocket, with 2 cherry tomatoes and onion- was not enjoyable. Had to ask about one meal that didn't arrive with the other meals, came out 10 minutes later. Overall, a very disappointing food experience for the very high cost of the meals. The most positive thing, view was nice and drinks were cold!

Came here for a work party and never been before even though I live very close and it's great! Food was amazing and the staff very friendly. I had the Superfood Salad with chicken, feta and avocado. It was beautiful!

What an amazing place to dine - our meals were completely delicious, the staff were wonderful, and the whole place was spotless. All this whilst looking out over the Marina - a brilliant experience to have with my family for my birthday after travelling from New South Wales. Cannot recommend highly enough, we'll certainly be back to dine again, thank you ?

We are locals and get takeaway from the COVE because of convenience and large menu. However unfortunately all too often our order is often incorrect and we have to return to pick up a missing meal or grilled fish instead of fried despite calling to ask specifically for grilled immediately following submitting an online order. The quality of the meals can often be amazing but the service and communication lets this great venue down.

Went with my partner. We had a chicken risotto with mushrooms. Also a Texan chicken parmigiana and a bottle of red wine.

The food was really good and the atmosphere was great. It has to be a great place in summer standing next to the docks.

We will be back.

Took my mum for Mother's Day lunch. The Calamari was superb. It was so good we asked about the chef who cooked it. Thank you Susie, my mum eats a lot of calamari - according to mum, yours has been the best so far. Thank you for a lovely afternoon and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Great service and a great experience.

Another spectacular dining experience. The restraunt was clean, hygienic and just had a good atmosphere in general. Staff were friendly and up for a chat. Overlooking a dock, the view was definitely a bonus. The food was amazing. The portion sizes were massive. Couldn't recommend the chicken parmigiana, highly enough. It's massive and is cooked to perfection. The option of chips and vegetable was another big hit. Not many restraunts offer this, but this is definitely a hit from us. Bathrooms were clean and well represented. Overall, can't describe how good the experience was. You will not be let down. Come down and enjoy the experience. I will definitely be back.

Good open dining room. I like the round tables for the groups of 5, 6, 7, ect, this allows the conversation to flow.
Suggestion: Place overhead fans into the deck dining room.
The Veal Scallopini was hot from the kitchen pass. Tje sauce was slightly split, a little over reduced, good pan flavours.

The Cove was wonderful, if you're looking for that slightly special experience, without going over board this is your place. Don't forget it's still a pokies pub, though it's not in your face.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the easy nature of the staff, while still giving good service. Always a plus in my mind, especially considering the staffing issues we are currently having.

As a side point, smiling the food was a touch better than most restaurants at the same level.

We celebrated Mother's Day and we had nice time, the special menu was so tasty.. I loved it it was lamb pie with sweet potato. The people very kind and the service was quick.

Nice venue, great decor and nice views of the waterways. Food was only ok as they were very busy catering for Mother's Day.

We went once years ago and it was lovely so we came back for a rare date brunch on Sunday 23/01/22. We ordered the seafood platter - it was awful. We couldn't eat it.

Fish was frozen not fresh. Flavorless. Oysters and mussels were smelly we didn't touch them. Cocktail Prawn overcooked. Even the battered fish was gross. So disappointed.

Even had to send the side plates back as they weren't washed. They did offer us a free dessert but we just wanted to leave - we even left the bottle of wine half finished. Pretty view and nice service from the young wait staff but won't be back

First time dining at the Cove. Pleasantly surprised. Good food and great service for a Friday lunchtime. Menu is simple and prices reflect a brilliant location.
Will be happy to book again.

Nice interior. Generous meal size, parmigiana coating was a little doughy... someone else's burger bun was a little dry, hot chocolate was lukewarm when asked for extra hot. Prices a tad high for the quality of food. Atmosphere pleasant however.

Chicken Schnitzel dish, your average Schnitzel dish. Large portions. Worth the price.

The Sri Lankan chicken curry for $28 on the other hand was over inflated in price but nice.

The Polanto fries were a good tasty light entree addition.

Staff were super friendly and managed to squeeze us in for a early lunch. Gluten-free menu and Vegan menu is large and good value. I enjoyed a pub classic Parma. Wife had gluten free calamari. Perfectly cooked and hot to boot! Thanks team we will be back many times for sure!!! ??

Bit of a mixed bag the slow cooked lamb shoulder was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavour and tenderness. The Parma on the other hand was dry as an old boot. Some other things I sampled such as the scollops and the risotto on the Christmas in July special was very bland.

The Cove was recommended to me by my Qld niece... and I decided I would try it out for myself.
I took my father, husband & sister to The Cove one cold, miserable day early July.
The food was delicious & served super quickly. It was fresh & hot.
The staff were very attentive & very knowledgeable.
I was very impressed, so-much-so I've booked for Fathers Day!!

The Cove is a very nice place to have lunch. Unfortunately it is a bit over priced. My last visit on lock down eve was a little dissappointing. The food was fine. The service was average. Still worth a try. I will probably go again when Dan let's me out again.

Accommodating and attentive staff, friendly service and delicious cuisine. Extensive menu and seafood very fresh. Seated with a lovely marina view on short notice by gracious floor manager named Blake whom made sure I was well looked after. Restaurant well designed, everything clean with comfortable seating and nice decor. Food is a touch overprice for what you are getting at a pub. Pleasant vibe and easy access to parking area. Will be returning.

Hi everyone!It gives me no pleasure to have to write this review but, honesty to prevail.I booked a table by the Marina on line with The Cove Hotel / Patterson lakes which was confirmed both by Fork and The Cove. The booking was made for 2 people for dinner last Sat 23/1 at 6.30 pm. On arrival we were told by a woman called Stephanie that our table by the Marina was not available and we had to sit in a little dark corner inside. She claimed to be the Manageress despite lacking the presence and the communication skills. Not an apology but, she offered us complimentary drinks. She did not even try to assist and was kind of apathetic. Regretably, we had no other choice but to leave with a bitter taste in our mouths. We have been going to The Cove for more than 10 years and, have also recommend to many as we always enjoyed good service and meals. Despite having sent multiple emails since last Sunday 24/1 , nobody had the decency to reply to me. It is a total disgrace to see their total disrespect to customers.

Went there with the family, we waited 1 1/2 hours for our meals, in that time we had the chance to order 2 drinks. As we were eating our meals we were informed our sitting was for 2 hours so we needed to leave in 20 minutes, that was the first we had heard about the 2 hour sitting, not mentioned at the time of booking or upon seating. Spoke to staff at the time & the following day, pretty much got the same response of that is our time limit. We were there to celebrate a birthday & birth of new baby. With the lack of empathy don't think we'll bother again. Have given 2 stars as our young server was super polite & very helpful.

A spacious venue with water views over the Marina. Plenty of on site parking. Food is well presented generous without being too much. Staff are courteous and attentive. Be sure to make a booking to ensure your preferred dining time.
