The Criterion Hotel Motel, Rockhampton City QLD

Excellent meal. Had the prawn,calamari and bacon fettuccine. Absolutely delicious. 5 huge Prawns and heaps of calamari. Pasta cooked to perfection and the sauce full of flavors bought it all together. Would rate meal 5 star. Only suggestion is that
The table staff clear the table as you finish rather than when you leave. It's nice to be able to relax after dinner without dishes in front of you not having being cleared........not at home after all and expect a different standard of service ☺️ðŸ¤-

Great pub and conveniently located. The only drawback is the traffic noise from the streets below. However, this cannot be avoided and the price was right. I would stay again. The staff were very polite.

I didn't stay in the hotel but we met for food with a couple of friends on Sunday evening for food.
I ordered the Italiano Pizza 🍕 but was unfortunately very disappointed. It was a relatively small one and the dough tasted as if it was a prior frozen one.. maybe I had to high expectations but still sad 😟 My friends had a steak and the prawn bacon pasta which was according to them great - so probably a better choice than the pizza :)
The location and vibe is great though and surely not the last time I came here :)

I came to this pub a few years ago and thought it was awesome so I brought my friends here tonight stopping on our way for a fishing trip. Tonight I couldn't have had a worse time. Staff are as rude as I have ever experienced. The girl with the nose rings and shot in her face shouldn't be in customer service . She wasn't the only one they were all terrible.
I'll never be back. Don't come here.

Came here for dinner at 6:40 pm
It was quiet busy. I ordered the garlic bread to start i could see it was sitting under the hot light for ages. It came out was pretty cold!
My steak was cooked to Perfection. I ordered it blue. again sat under light waiting for the waiter. You can see even the Gravy was geting a layer of skin on it from going cold! The potato bake was blend and tasted not great it was like that taste When you overcook Broccoli it gets that funny taste for 45 dollars for a steak,they need to get more staff for better service! Ia sled what was the better cut meat and the guy at the till had no idea!

I also had a long island ice tea with no coke it was nice. I loved the fluffy duck cocktail! The bar staff where nice a d friendly!
