The Crown and Sceptre - a culinary sanctuary fit for the discerning palate! Picture this: amidst the company of three companions, we indulged in an array of appetizers, four sumptuous meals, and several libations, each dish a testament to culinary excellence. Not a single morsel failed to impress, leaving us thoroughly enchanted.

The staff, akin to courteous muses guiding our gastronomic journey, were not only friendly but extraordinarily helpful, ensuring our experience was nothing short of sublime. It is with great anticipation that I eagerly await my next visit to Adelaide, where I shall undoubtedly return to this delightful establishment.

And oh, the steak! A magnificent plate, larger than both my hands combined, a true marvel of culinary proportions. Though the photo may not capture its grandeur, its presence on the table spoke volumes of the Crown and Sceptre's commitment to culinary mastery. A venue truly deserving of recommendation to all who appreciate refined dining in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The food was not as expected.
Steak was undercooked (asked for medium well) however it was very pink and chewy.
The mixgrilled was quite bland.

Booked on a Saturday night not realising Saturdays in Adelaide CBD are dead and walk ins are fine. The food was perfect. Great range of gluten free foods and the service was fast. Fire place in the dining area kept it warm and the bar staff are hilarious. Stuck around a little longer because the DJ had a great eclectic selection of tunes playing. Worth the pop in if you're in the area.

It's absolutely amazing. Between the four of us, we had 3 appetisers, 4 meals, and several drinks and not one thing disappointed. Would recommend Crown and Sceptre to everyone!
The staff are friendly and super helpful, an amazing experience. Will come again next time in Adelaide.

Really good food! Surprisingly good in fact. Service was great, plenty of friendly staff who were very accommodating. We tried a few different things on the menu for mains and dessert and was not disappointed with anything.

Knock off drinks are the highlight of my day sometimes, and a place like this is perfectly situated for me. In the winter months, this place flexes a beautiful beer garden equipped with umbrellas and heaters that will allow all to keep warm

The drinks flow great from friendly staff members and the food is a step up from classic pub foods,

Came here and had a nice Steak dinner. The sirloin unfortunately did have a bit of a fatty later in it that made it chewy in parts, but was still overall enjoyable. Staff were nice and food came out quick

The food was top-notch! From the moment we walked in, the staff were extremely welcoming and very friendly. Great pub atmosphere.

Food was superb, generous serves - fresh vegetables. My barramundi perfectly cooked came with crispy skin. The curry of the day was full of flavour and could have had more chilli the chicken snitzel was huge!. Our waiter was rushed and a little brisk. Overall a lovely lunch

We discovered the C&S by accident as our previous perception of the hotel was that of decades ago. We are regular meal purchasers in the city due to our work commitments and we have just found our new fave pub. So much so we have ordered lunch and dinner on the same day. Service 10/10 & Food an 11. Highly recommended and will definitely be our new local.

We came for my other halfs 50th and kicked on in the beer garden. We ended being about 30 of us and the staff were awesome. So kind, and the food was awesome. 10/10 truthfully.

Other table food came out only 3 other tables in dining room not very busy.

Ask waitress why other people getting food and we had ordered been before. Waitress reply ticket didn't print which he was odd as it was after 7 we ordered another drink . Still sitting with no food.

Waitress didn't know why ticket wasn't printed or why we just sat in dining room for so long while others got food. Wasn't check on.

Offered a free meal and apologize from manager with little reason to why ticket didn't print or was followed up on.

My recommendation is always check with your customers. Will be attending other venues in future for better customer experience.

Would definitely come back for dinner again. Nice cozy environment and fantastic food.

Great staff, very attentive. Atmosphere was relaxed and the food was fantastic! 10/10 good job guys. Only two guys working and they both were brilliant.

Magnificent! Rib-eye steak, chicken schnitzel with mushroom gravy and steak sandwich were all sensational. The bar manager was great, her service was exceptional and her music play list was the best??'???'???'?
