Crown Inn - Pub Near Me in TAS

Great meal friendly service,but was time to filter or change the flyer oil could taste it in the scallops and chips , but still a good experience, a lot off pubs could learn a lot from the family atmosphere

Usually, my husband and I love hitting up The Crown Inn for some good vibes and tasty eats. But last night was a bit of a bummer. It took forever to get our food - I even finished mine before my husband got his! And the place wasn't even packed. I get it they maybe short staffed or had too many take away order, but a quick apology would've been nice, you know? Other diners seemed annoyed too. Normally, I'm in and out of a restaurant in an hour, but this time, not so much. Oh well, stuff happens, I guess!"

Great service and value for money , would recommend the Margherita and bbq chicken pizza and chips. Beautiful floral arrangements. Will be back!

Great meal, one of the best pub steaks I've had for a long time.
I ordered a rare scotch (pictured) with seafood sauce, which was served on the side. My husband ordered an eye fillet cooked medium & received a lovely thick cut cooked perfectly. Both came with chips & a fresh, well dressed salad which was served in a separate bowl. Didn't have dessert as the meals were substantial, but the menu had the old favourites, sticky date pudding, banana split etc, all for under $10.00 which is terrific value for what we seen others enjoying.

The food is great but service was difficult and slow as lots of people in the dining room and not enough staff at the bar. Overall what a great venue just needs a few more staff on shift so you don't line up for 15 minutes for a pint.
