The Eminence Apartments By CLLIX

Stayed here for 2wks+. Location is convenient with a tram stop within easy walking distance. A few restaurants just downstairs and a short walk to nearby Lygon Street where there r many eating places. ALDI mart is also nearby when we want to do our own cooking. The room is quite spacious and the cooking facilities are complete. Perhaps the only thing lacking is a gym and a pool (during summer).

Stayed here to meet my youngest daughter before her commencement of her internship.
Very polite staff, I was late arriving for check in & was assisted with ease on this.
10 minute walk to Central Station, I would call it just on the edge of central. Perfect location for Lygon Street for food.
I would definitely book again on my next visit.

😀🏻 · Check-in process was simple, and the receptionist was very friendly. The apartment was very secure as one needed the keys to be able to enter the building, as well as take the lift. The room was bigger than expected, clean, and there was everything you need, including lots of utensils, pots and pans, a washer and dryer, oven, hairdryer, dishwasher etc. WiFi was stable and reliable. The rooftop boasts awesome views of the city, do check it out!

😀🏻 · The view could be better as we were facing another apartment, and the smoke alarm was located right in the kitchen, hence it did not take much effort to set it off.

Fantastic in every way. Innovative layout of apartment gives spacious feel. Rooftop BBQ and city lights. Could easily live there a few weeks, everything provided. Car parking so convenient to get in and out, easy to navigate around Melbourne but mostly we walked or tram, it was so convenient. Felt very safe and secure too

Our 2nd stay here and it was even better than the last. The apartment is stocked with everything you need to have a very comfortable stay - fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, comfy beds. The location is perfect, just a few steps to Swanston St and the tram and Victoria Market is a 5-10 minute walk. This is our choice of accommodation in Melbourne!

Reading some of these reviews, I wonder if they are talking about the same place... we are a retired couple and have stayed here for a week, on two occasions... in November 2022 and November 2023. The building is beautiful. Reception is classy with a sitting area and gas fire. The staff have been genuinely friendly and helpful on both visits. They even allowed us to store luggage on the last day. Rooms have ALWAYS been spotlessly clean. Cleaning staff are also helpful, giving us extra soaps, conditioners etc when asked. The rooms are cleaned once a week for guests staying 7 nights. This includes new towels and bed linen. Both our rooms had nice furniture (remember, people can be VERY rough with items). Loved the design of both rooms. Spacious, excellent quality European appliances, the BEST beds we have ever slept in (45 years travel). Ok cooking utensils vary, but when we asked for a replacement chopping board (the wooden one was split) a new board was delivered to our room soon after. The view in the first room was better as you could see out onto Queensbury Street. The second faced the next door building but we could live with that. Thick window glass and thick sliding doors kept the noise at bay in both rooms. (I'm a LIGHT sleeper!) and the aircon was excellent, with a vent into the sleeping area too. We accidentally left a small packing cell in the room. Selina called us on the way to the airport and she organised its return via post, which was fantastic. I understand that the opening hours are restricted but they did call us on the arrival day to ask if things were all ok with the trip. We arrived at 12.30 and they had the room ready for us. Of course, each unit is different and may have different owners. But really, we've had two visits and cannot fault the lovely staff we have encountered. And it's sooo close to the cbd and Lygon Street, too!! Walk everywhere!

Great place to stay!! I gave 3 stars for service because no one mans the desk at night. Otherwise, all my needs were attended to next day.

Stayed here, room was all good but unfortunately left my wallet in the room and got my cash and card details stolen after room service. I lost cash and someone used my card for a transaction as well. Tried contacting the support team through email a few times but had no reply.

The apartment we stayed in was modern, clean and we'll set out. It is in a secure building with secure parking (fee for parking ) it had a nice kitchen area if you wanted to cook, a washing machine and dryer a separate bedroom a small living space and a nice little balcony. The ladies at Reception were lovely and very helpful. We discovered the dryer wasn't heating and after informing them a replacement dryer was installed within an hour. Great service. The location is close to a tram stop and there are many restaurants and cafes all around. Lovely stay and I definitely would stay here again.

The apartment we stayed in was below average/ budget accommodation. Two different curtains on the windows in bedroom and lounge which did not cover the entire window. Not just different in fabric but in colour and length too. Not blackout curtains either. No a/c or heating in the bedroom which was a double bed not queen. The sofa bed in the lounge was stained. The view from the balcony was of the student accommodation next door
Extremely disappointing and very poor service by reception when our concerns were raised. Please be careful the pictures advertised are not the actual rooms
