Fantastic Christmas Party Venue!
The private function room at the Forest Hotel was an excellent choice for our staff Christmas party. The air conditioning was much appreciated, and the food was delicious. A special thanks to Kylie Henderson, the Functions Manager, for her support in ensuring everything ran smoothly. We were so impressed that we've already booked again!

Forest Hotel was pretty nice! Very busy when we arrived and took a while to order drinks from the bar.
Food said it would take 45 mins but it ended up coming super quickly in about 15-20 minutes.
Food was tasty and was also pretty big portions. I had the fried chicken burger which was super crispy and had a nice flavour. The chips needed a bit of salt but were pretty good. Overall food was decent.

Do not have the beer battered fish. It was mostly batter, with a thin sliver of fish. They need to change the chef or the supplier. Starters were great. Booths were directly under the air conditioning, so a bit chilly. Moved to a table in the middle of the room where it was more comfortable.

I recently visited The Forest Hotel and had a great time! The food and drinks were excellent - especially the pizza and cocktails, which were delicious. The atmosphere is also fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor areas that make it a great spot to chill with the gang.
The only downside was the service, which was quite slow. We had to wait longer than expected for our food and drinks. If they could improve on that, it would be perfect! Overall, still a great place to hang out, and I'll definitely be back.
