I recently stayed at this so-called 5-star hotel in Sydney, and it was a disaster from start to finish. They tried to scam me by charging me for breakfast and an upgrade I had already paid for. They even sent me a payment link, which I almost paid again. When I pointed this out to the Italian Concierge, I was mocked, and they promised to speak with the manager and get back to me, but I never even received an apology!
The service was terrible: every morning, they made me wait for breakfast even though I had paid for it in advance. They charged absurd prices, like $14 for a measly orange juice and $9 for a small bottle of water, which is simply ridiculous.
The staff seemed uninterested in helping guests and gave the impression that they were more focused on squeezing as much money as possible from customers rather than providing good service.
Overall, this was one of the worst 5-star hotel experiences I have ever had. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone. It is certainly not worth the price or the 'luxury' label they claim to have.
