For my birthday my friends surprised me and my son with a stay at The Grace. It was so beautiful and I can't recommend it enough. The bed was the comfiest I've ever slept on! ( I need to know the mattress brand Grace uses!). The room was so clean and gorgeous ( we were in a corner room). The shower a rainforest type shower, so luxurious. Mini bar complementary drinks came in so handy because we went on so many walks and came back thirsty. And the drink selection is great. Staff so friendly and helpful. Can't thank The Grace enough for making my birthday so special and my sons first night in a hotel so perfect. Louise and Max

Wow what a beautiful place to stay, staff were excellent, the room was perfect a corner suite. We slept so well the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. Everything about The Grace was outstanding from the rooms to the excellent staff and beautiful decor inside. Not to mention everything was close to us easy to walk around or catch trains or buses. We will definitely be back
Thank You for a memorable time

Check-in and out were super quick and easy. The room was lovely. It served all my needs perfectly. The fridge could be set on a colder level, if possible, but otherwise, I was happy with my stay.
We had no complaints regarding the room and friendly service, but the 'health & fitness centre' was disappointing.

Despite our best efforts over the course of 30 - 45 minutes and with the assistance of an employee, the sauna didn't heat up. It seemed to turn itself off before ever getting warm enough, so we were unable to use it.

Although working, the steam room is quite run down inside. Tiles are falling off the walls and it wasn't a very pleasant experience inside. It's overdue a freshen up.

The last thing was the pool water seemed quite cloudy and stung our eyes. Maybe it had recently been treated, but we should've been notified in that case.

The $65 per day parking offered is also overpriced compared to the very nearby car parks - I'd recommend shopping around if you don't mind a couple of minutes walk.

They seem like minor things, but it did put a damper on our otherwise pleasant stay.

Very nice contemporary hotel. We booked a superior king room, and it was spacious and the bed comfortable. The only knit-pickey thing was that it would have been nice to have two comfortable chairs versus just one. (Or, a sofa for two.) The room included a complimentary mini bar that included soft drinks, water, and juices.

The location was great with many options for food, drink, and transportation.

There was one disappointment... We stayed for one night between cruises, so we had to be off the ship early. We arrived about 10AM . We were told there was a room ready, but they wanted to charge $50 additional for the privilege. Here's the rub, they, took our bags to the room, but we couldn't check in until three if we didn't want the extra charge. Didn't make sense to me, but to be fair, most hotels won't let you check in early anyway. (That is why there were no stars deducted.)

Please note that my wife and I chose to pull our luggage and walk from the cruise port to the hotel versus a cab or Uber. The sidewalks, although busy with people, were reasonably smooth and had no issues with the luggage. The walk was less than 15 minutes at a reasonable pace.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Grace Hotel. Not only is it a beautiful hotel, the rooms were comfortable and clean. It would also have to be one of the quietest hotels we've ever stayed at. We didn't hear other guests at all! It is in a central location which is perfect for everything you need to see and do in Sydney. Staff were friendly and accomodating and check-in was a quick and easy process. There are no views from the hotel as you are in between many tall buildings so if you want a good view, this hotel isn't it.
I will say the breakfast we had at the cafe on our first morning was inedible and were not offered any kind of apology or compensation. I'm not sure this is owned by the hotel, but I imagine they lease it. I have a photo of my breakfast that I took, but wouldn't post without a warning. Was disappointed this was the only food choice for breakfast at the hotel. The other restaurants/eateries downstairs were great.
The sound insulation effect is very bad. There was the sound of water dripping all night long, which seriously affected our rest. At 7am, we can't stand it, we went to the lobby to find the staff. We recorded the noise-related video and sent it to their staff, who was on duty that morning. The staff checked the video and confirmed that there was indeed a sound of water ticking, but they did not know where the source was and did not do anything to deal with it. They just said that they couldn't give us any feedback this time, but they would give us 10% off for the next appointment. That's so terrible experience in Grace Hotel this time. We will continue to contact with Grace and hope to get a satisfied result and feedback.

Great location and retro styling let down by poor breakfast and thin walls. Rooms nice and big comfortable bed, liked the large showerhead in the bathroom. The rooms are let down by the cheap laminate flooring and the lightweight partition walls. You can certainly hear your neighbours. The breakfast room is tiny and low quality, stale bread, awful coffee machine and not worth $35
The hotel was very clean but the air-conditioner didn't work properly. The breakfast was OK. In general I was happy with my experience and recommend this place.

Lovely stay at The Grace! Bed was super comfortable, room was spacious, everything else was in good working order. Fantastic location as well. Room comes with free mini bar (non alcoholic drinks) and Chromecast is also available on the TV so you can stream stuff from your phone.

A great hotel overall and in the perfect location. The entire staff is very friendly. The concierges are always ready to answer any questions, provide the best recommendations, and assist in any way they can. The room was very comfortable with enough room for all our luggage and the housekeeping staff was always very attentive. This will always be our hotel in Sydney!

An amazing hotel. Absolutely beautiful from the moment I walked in. Very generous room size, extremely clean, lovely bathroom and a comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic. Overall great value and will be my go-to hotel when I stay in Sydney.

Nice rooms.
The rest is pretty average to be honest.
Slightly boring.
Best part of the hotel is the small cafe next door where I had a nice breakfast and coffee with super friendly smiles every day.

An absolute delight to stay in a building so rich with history . Knowing my ancestors walked down those very halls was magical . Luxury on every floor the room just lovely the beds so comfortable. The shower was a wonderful experience ??Thankyou ?

Very fair priced for a hotel so central to everything, rooms were nice and clean. Loved the complimentary mini bar drinks which went down a treat after a big day of exploring. Staff were very nice and super attentive to any requests. Check in and out were a breeze. Would return.

A beautiful historical hotel with loads of history!
Our room was very spacious and light and has the most relaxing shower - can for two people. Shower has a rainforest head (which is the best I've ever used) and a seperate attachment head too. King size bed was super comfortable and very quite during the night especially with an Irish pub downstairs (which is a cool venue to go to for drinks and a feed.
The Grace hotel is situated in one of the best locations in the city. Across the road is the Swinging Cat - a jazz club!!
We'll definitely be going back to the Grace hotel.
All staff were super friendly accommodating and has a car park underground- really convenient.
The Grace hotel was better than we expected.

Marvellous. Efficient. Love the old style glass and wood deco matched by the modern rooms. The showers I won't describe because I wouldn't want to ruin the fabulous surprise.

Buffets cute and simple. It's just a shame the room service isn't late night/24hour.

We highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, with access to theatres, museums, restaurants and the light rail. The king room was enormous and beautifully decorated. I didn't want to leave that bed in the morning, it was so luxurious and comfortable! We didn't hear any noise from the corridor or other rooms.

4.2 stars. Great location for a 1 night work trip on 14 Nov 2022. Rooms appear to have had been refurbished so that's nice. The room I got was huge with 2 big beds! Great value for the location being smack bang in the middle of the city.

Excellent stay, so central to everything in the city and really appreciated the onsite parking. The rooms are very modern with all the amenities you need. Staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries we had. Love the art deco feel of the place too.

Classic hotel in keeping with its era. Lovely room. Great service. Central location and easy re taxis. They will book for you. I got Tony as a driver a lovely gentleman, old school professional. Made my stay easy and enjoyable. Thank you.

Stayed for one night with a friend so we could enjoy the omakase in the hotel (which is fantastic by the way!) The room we got was clean and a good size, although we could clearly hear people in other rooms (and undoubtedly, they could hear us).
The pool and gym are clean and well maintained, but small.
Staff were friendly enough. The breakfast wasn't great - ordered a hot breakfast that weirdly didn't include toast (so weird) and the poached eggs tasted of vinegar.

We loved our stay here! We were here for 2 nights and will be coming back in September on our way home. Everyone was such a pleasure there from reception to concierge. Rooms were pristine, shower was amazing and the bed was soooo comfortable which was so important to us after traveling for 24 hours. Location was great and very convenient. They even get us a room well before our check in which we were so grateful we could shower right away after flight.

This is a great hotel that I would recommend. It is very centrally located and walking distance to Darling Harbour, Centrepoint and so on. The building is heritage listed, and the interior was redone some years ago which gives the rooms a modern, minimalist feel. The bed and shower are excellent. Would definitely stay here again.
This was our first visit to Australia and chose the The Grace Hotel. Our two week stay was amazing. Darcy and Dean and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful that it made our stay even more special. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and centrally located to all the sites of Sydney. We highly recommend this hotel and guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Thank you Darcy/Dean for all your help with our tours and directions.

Couldn't fault the Grace. Good service and an amazing room. We stayed in the Signature premium corner king room and couldn't fault it really.

We used it for an overnight stay while going to the Capitol theatre that night. It's not as well located for that theatre as for the other theatres in the city but at a 12 minute walk it was still hardly anything to complain about.

The hotel is located in a great location. We had a corner room with a great view into the city. The bathroom with bath was amazing. So nice to have a bath before going out that evening for the show. We ran out of bath gel pretty quickly but the staff topped us up that evening while we were out on request.

The bed was a king and felt huge. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Very good sleep. Pillows were soft and although we usually use hard pillows we slept well on them.

The attention to detail in the room was noticeable. The subway tiles in the bathroom, the choice of shower heads to use. The tiling on the bathroom floor and the floors in the room itself, all showed it was a very well thought out premium quality room.

Despite being on busy streets in the city there was hardly any noise overnight. We didn't hear anything. The double glazing helps.

Overall one of the best hotel stays we've had with an amazing room.

Clean, spacious, aesthetically pleasing and great location. The building itself is gorgeous and the foyer was beautiful. A step back in time. The rooms were well serviced and clean however the walls are thin. You can hear conversations from adjoining rooms and footsteps above as well as TV's and when curtains are opened. It's not bad but if that bothers you it might be an issue.

Woah! So excited to come back! Booked this place for a wonderful rate at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I love this resort and I'm so thankful I stayed at my favorite place for less than what I typically pay.

Excellent art deco hotel in a excellent central Sydney location. High quality rooms. Proper Irish pub at ground level.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff.
Arrived earlier than and expected and short time to get my room. Once again super nice staff. Room presentation was top notch, fresh and clean. Beautiful bedding and pillows. This location is excellent, close to all the shops and not far from the wharf.

While this centrally located Hotel is only four stars, it presents as a five hotel. It may not have an over abundance of employees running around, however everything gets done and there are staff you look after all your requests. I prefer the rooms here compared to most of Sydney's Branded 5 stars hotels. You can see from the photos and videos all the great amenities.

Excellent experience

Bed was really good , clean room and location is amazing.

However, one thing we didn't like was the towels is not changed after we use in one day. But over all was excellent experience for us. We only stayed at the hotel for 2 night's with family.

We can't complain. We will definitely go back there again.

I stayed at The Grace Hotel for 2 nights having my nieces wedding in the city. Absolutely loved it. The room is very spacious spotless, the bathroom is massive and clean, the bed is ultra comfortable. Staff are very friendly and professional. Love it can't fault it 1 bit. Love the decor of the foyer and hall ways.
