The Grapes Hotel, Golden Point VIC

Been going for over 3 years to eat yum steak. 3 months ago disappointed at the quality and cook. Tough and irregular cook from well done to rare in parts. Decided to give one more go last week. Same poor quality steak ( scotch fillet) tough and again irregularities in cooking. When asked by gentlemen at payment "how was your meal?" When we tried to politely explain our disappointment he ignored us,gave no eye contact ,no comment just handed us the bill. We paid . No comment or goodbye from the cashier. We are now looking for a new venue for our steak hit. Sad as we are locals.

Best rissoles in town at the front bar! We had a great casual dinner, excellent pricing, great service in a proper old school pub.

Service was amazing super friendly. Food was nice enough. Garlic bread was nice bit doughy. Chicken schnitzel had a nice taste.

This is an old pub so don't expect fancy but it's very clean and quiet. Prices are really good.

Would go back and try something else.

The absolute and no doubt food I've had in decades. The chef is godly, Dillion the head is so awesome, professional and runs an amazing staff. If you do not got here, you are so bloody missing out. I'm a East Timor Veteran and ex army sgt, I swear a soldier's oath. Go, degustate, you will also put up 5 stars.

Wow!! Absolutely delicious meal. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Cooked to perfection. The young lady serving was delightful and it was no issue to change the vegetable selection of the meals. The only downside is that we don't live in Ballarat. Recommend 😀
