Harbour Rocks Hotel - Pub in The Rocks New South Wales

Absolute ideal location the rooms were very clean and comfortable, with this in mind my wife and I over looked the TV,Coffee Machine and the Refrigerator not working did report it but didn't matter but all efforts were appreciated. Will defiantly re book for next year entirely based on the great location.

The location is a complete win if you want to be near the harbor and walking distance to one of the most vibrant areas is the city. The hotel comes with a lot of character - which comes with some trade offs of being in a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and noise from other rooms and outside was non existent. However the shower head was below my shoulder and if you don't do stairs be sure to ask for the first floor as there is no elevator. The entire space was very clean and while I'm not a fan of hanging out in lobby's this hotels lobby was very welcoming to sit and I saw people playing cards, etc. the hotel restaurant had tasty food and I was impressed with the offerings and flavors. They do need to work on training the servers better - which is the only area with staff that needs work. Over all staff were great but during dinner my drink order came after I'd already finished my appetizer and things went down hill with attentiveness from there. I'm not disappointed to have stayed here and would return because the bed and location were total wins - the view of the Opera House at night is nice when not blocked by cruise ship! Also, the chocolate Father Christmas that appeared on Christmas Eve were nice.

Perfect location. Close to markets and easy walk to Circular Quay.Rooms and bed very comfortable. Moss and the ladies on reception were very friendly and welcoming. Enjoyed our stay and will stay here again when we are in Sydney.

Unfortunately housekeeping was not great, got in the shower to find long black hairs all over the tiles. Shower did not drain well.
Reported to front desk who offered to fix the problem and was very apologetic

Lovely heritage hotel. Room spacious clean and comfortable. Showroom quite small but adequate. Staff very helpful we were given a ground floor room as there is no lift. Great location. The restaurant on site was exceptional.
