The Imperial Hotel & Motel, Bowral NSW

I give it 5/5 for price, location, amenities, clean and comfort. It's a part of the pub and lots of cool eateries are close. And it's a two minute walk to the train station.

We attended a work Christmas dinner on a Thursday night about 3 weeks before Christmas to give some context.

We arrived to find a table was not reserved for us, even though we had reserved a table prior. We asked the lady at the bar and she advised us to look for the name on the booking. We looked everywhere, no table. They then proceeded to give us a bench with stools and a dirty high chair for our one year old child. The high chair was sitting well below our bench and stools, so even if we wanted to use it, we weren't able to. Our table was in the smokers area, where we spent 2.5 hours. Smoking was prohibited until 8:30pm, however this was clearly not an enforced rule as there were plenty of people smoking and vaping around us and the other families that were in that area.

We won't be returning as it was just a mess of an afternoon. Plenty of other great hotels in Bowral that we've been to and never had issues like this.

Can't comment on the rooms as I didn't see them. Food was great. I love playing pool when I drink with mates. Shame the pool tables need attention.

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel in Bowral for two nights. The accommodation was great and comfortable. The pizza Bistro had delicious pizzas and we ate there both days because of the great pizzas with so many varieties of toppings that were so yummy. We will definitely stay there again.

This was a family get together for a lovely meal in a great location.. this was a return visit * we will come again. Loved the fire in the Pizzeria on a cold day. Great food & service.
