One of the oldest pubs in Melbourne which has retained all the old world charm Irish pubs are known for.
Loved the ambience, friendly chatter of friends and colleagues meeting for a dram. The food was yummy, wholesome, filling and cooled home-style.

Classic Irish pub vibes which I'm all about. We ate here in bangers and mash night which was bangers and mash and a beer or wine for $25. It was homely and delicious. We also had the calamari salad for a lighter meal option and it really hit the spot.

We loved The Irish Times Pub. We were a walk in and they were busy but the front of house staff, bent over backwards to find us a table. We ordered a traditional Irish stew and chicken curry. Both were delicious and the flavours were perfectly balanced. We felt the meals were very fairly priced compared to elsewhere. It had a charming atmosphere. My only disappointment was that one of the barmaids was rude to my partner when he was buying drinks. That hurt me to watch because he is a very sweet man. This was no reflection on the establishment though. The rest of the staff were lovely.

Lovely little Irish pub, perfect for a late night drink. Friendly service and cute decor with a few special touches...
Check out the quaint little 2 person booth under the staircase( with a stained glass window) and the map of Ireland on the roof that looks a bit like a water stain.
Toilets were a bit pungent ( coming from men's toilets but could smell it in women's)

The Irish Times Pub is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon until 1 AM the following morning. They are also open Friday and Saturday from noon until 3 AM the following morning. On Sunday they're open from noon to 11 PM.
