Was going to grab dinner and some drinks, so waited at the bar for a long time in front of the person at the bar who kept putting glasses in the fridge and actively ignoring me. Strangest version of hospitality I've ever seen! So, I left and ate somewhere else, where the staff actually communicate with the customers.

Great service and meals were out to us super quick. I had the calamari and Summer had the chicken schnitzel. Both meals were great tasting at a good price. We will be back

Okay service, very average food. Ordered a chicken schnitty with sauce (for an extra $3). I was with a friend who ordered the calamari which came out super dooper late.....

Schnitzel was tiny and sauce was watery. Chips were bearable but I have had way better for the price.

I don't think I will be back.

Absolutely delicious food. We sat down after we had ordered and the food was almost faster than the drinks. It was ready in less than 8 minutes and it was fresh and delicious. The bartender with the long hair was really friendly too!!

Celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary here.. this is where we met many years ago. great food. Helpful staff.. can Highly recommend

Menu needs a change. Schnitzels show with chips, salad and your choice of sauce. $20 for Chicken, $22 for beef. Parmi extra $3. Doesn't say sauce extra but under Chef's suggestions at bottom of menu sauce is add $3. Quite misleading.

Went for lunch. Food a bit average, burger was a soggy mess and fell apart. Couldn't eat the whole thing. They messed up another order at our table but we're fast to rectify it.
Overall service was friendly. I'd visit again, I saw other good meals there - I think we just lucked out this time.

Our group enjoyed another great night at the kings head, with live music, tonight was 'The Groovematics' great band!

Not a bad little pub, might need a bit of a spruce up in time but does maintain a classic vasard well.

Staff were nice a few good tso beers and the outdoor area was well set up with weatherproof marque's

Nice pub in a great location! Found free parking a block away. Very busy place. We went here to see a band. Have had lunch here awhile back which was good. Friendly and fast service.

This was a fantastic 5 star experience! Got together with a group of mates (8 of us) for a catch up and could not have asked for a better place to go! The 'vibe' was like going to an 'old fashioned' pub in regards to the personal service and the quality of the food and drinks. The food specials are great value and their is a great range of drinks. The schnitty's were fantastic, chips superb and the fish and chips was awesome! Nothing was too much trouble and the recent renovation has really lifted the ambiance to a great level. We had such a great night, we are heading back on 'St Patrick's Day' to celebrate Patrick's Birthday!!!

Went on $10 schnitzel night. Great quality schnittys, salad was great, perfect for spreading over the chips. We had a huge beef schnitty and chicken parmy not as big. Great atmosphere and had a wine tasting next door!
Have board games and great beer selection.
Also do take away! Just call them.

This is one of my locals and for some reason I don't love it like I no doubt should. Not sure why. I think on some level the only selling SA sourced everything seems a bit like being told what to do. It's parochial and rather than being a good thing I feel it fails to make its point.

I've never eaten here before, my kids have and some friends find it good. As you may be able to see from the photo my schnitzel was on the burnt side, and the peppercorn sauce was not homemade or very nice.

Look it's a very popular spot and apparently the beers are great, but the wine list being limited to SA as it is is too narrow for my tastes.
