Stayed overnight on a work trip
Had to ring and say we would be late getting there
Arrived and they cooked us a lovely chicken Parmi even though kitchen should have closed by then.
Meal and cold beers were great.
Neat and tidy room good hot shower.
The two D's were fantastic hosts
Enjoyed my very short stay and will return again for sure.

Lunch is advertised as from 12 till 2 7days a week. We arrived at 1:10 on a Sunday and the kitchen just closed huh ? My wife asked for a lemon, lime and bitters and they even didn't have the mixers to make it.

Amazing the difference a few months and new management makes. From a welcoming environment with good meals, to feeling as though you're a burden on their day.
Was pretty disappointing today. I give people a lot of allowance, but there's too much wrong today to accommodate so many faults. Wasn't even a big group. I won't be coming back

Customer service was terrible.
I don't know who grunts more a pig or the owner.
Food was disgusting, and I was actually worried about getting sick. Salad soggy and parts rotten, roll was hard.
Should have read the reviews before coming. Learnt our lesson and will not return.

Camped in RV at the hotel. Had a meal in hotel.
Massive meals , cannot fault. Great RV free camp.

Had we not been hungry and finding parking area for my immobile husband we would have walked out. Lady,and I use this term lightly,behind the bar ignored us till we asked if lunch was available. The response was begrudgingly given as was the menu. When asked if she was busy the response was this was always the case to which I jokingly replied "so the last thing you need is us asking for lunch" the rude reply was "well that's what running a pub is like". The food was ok but nothing to write home about. Will we return NO!
