Had to ask for my room to be made up every day
Had to ask for extra towels as we were only given one each - I understand the need to be sustainable but 2 towels per person is reasonable as people like to dry their hair and body at the same time.
Had to ask for extra pillows as we only had 1 each.
The sauna wasn't working which should have been told by the receptionist when checking in, I appreciate that faults happen but instead of having to make the effort to go all the way up there in swimmers to be disappointed when arriving to the top.
I also requested a vanity kit and never got one.
The customer service wasn't great for a 4* hotel.
We arrived at 1pm at got told that there was a room available if we paid $20 for early checkin. For a hotel with 517 rooms you definitely had rooms available and I just think it's money grabbing to expect more money. I appreciate there's a policy but if the room is available what harm is it to just give it 2 hrs before check in without expecting $20. You as a corporation make enough money and it gives good client satisfaction. Returning customers will make you more money than an early check in fee. Thank you for letting us store our bags. I honestly just would have preferred the option of either come back at check in on store bags - not "we have a room available if you pay extra".
Also the responses on google from your GM Ben - be a bit more creative in your responses because you look robotic and insincere.
