The hotel is located in a great location and is very clean. There are friendly staff members at the baggage area as well. However, I must say that I had an unpleasant experience with a female staff member.
The encounter took place when I called room service to request for slippers. The experience over the phone reeked of reluctance, combined with the short sentence response (e.g., 'room number?'). I reckon it is the same person who I spoke to on the phone that delivered my slippers; because when I opened the door, she looked disgruntled (Young Asian lady with a high pony-tail, approximately 165cm in height). After I thanked her for delivering the slippers, she nodded, walked off, and gave me the side-eye. The lack of social etiquette and basic customer service is horrific for a four-star hotel. Once again, I do not know what happened before she picked up my call, but please do not display your dissatisfaction publicly. This feedback was prompted by the second employee's poor attitude. It would be great if the management team looked into the poor behaviors of these two employees (particularly the second one). Even an interstate three-star motel is much friendlier and hospitable than this four-star international chain.
My friends who are in a different room also experienced the same nasty attitude when they requested for room service.
