We had a wonderful night at the MCT seeing Adam McGrath. It was our first time in this cool, cosy and intimate live music venue, and we travelled an hour up to see Adam play on the recommendation of friends in Chch.
Loved it, and highly recommend Merri Creek Tavern for a few drinks or to see some live music in a gorgeous small band room.
Staff were great, good drinks list and a cool space.

Perfect for a drink or two before or after the movies just down the street. Thanks team (PS please stay open Tuesdays forever so that my cheap movie and pint dream can continue forever). 🙏

Came here last night to watch a friend play in the bandroom. Lovely intimate space out back and the sound and lighting were perfect.
As a non-drinker I cannot comment on the fare but softdrink per glass is approx $5.
Bartender was gracious enough to offer that we could eat "outside food" in the venue. We however decided to eat across the road and head back for the lovely musical evening.

Went to this pub to attend a live music gig in the small, seperate, performance room. Reasonable venue but limited space and seating for just a few patrons.
Plenty of seating in the main part of the pub.

There's no shortage of bar options on High st 3070 yet very few that I would wish to have as my 'local'. I was welcomed like a regular on my very first visit and on each subsequent visit. Punches well above its weight size-wise for the quality of gigs/artists it hosts.

Great bar and music venue with a nice selection of craft beers. The band room is small and intimate with great accostics. I'm looking forward to visiting it again soon.

It doesn't have a kitchen, but you're welcome to BYO food from the local eateries.

Really amazing place. Went to the open jam session today and enjoyed the sounds and feelings of the bar. We had good drinks at a good price and saw snacks and food available.

We will be back, great experience.
The Merri Creek Tavern is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 4 PM until 1 AM the following morning. They are also open Saturday from 2 PM until 1 AM the following morning. On Sunday they're open from 2 PM to 11 PM.
