We booked our dinner a week in advanced (though it says no guarantee of best table, but still we were place at a very nice spot just next to the window looking out the jetty) and when we arrived at 6pm on 9.06.2024, there was a long queue waiting to be seated, but moving very fast. Within minutes we were point to our table, with a nice view. It was a full house!
My wife queued up to order our food, and was told an hour wait. I grabbed a glass of red with very reasonable price, for almost a full glass!
We waited not long before our entree calamari arrived hot with dipping sauce. It was very well done, big pieces, nothing to fault. not long we finished our entree, our foods arrived - definitely less than an hour!
The lamb shoulder was a bit dry, will be nicer with more sauce on top, it's a big portion though. The seafoods chowder was fantastic - just creamy, not too salty, with lots of seafoods, and a big bowl it was! One thing special about the seafood chowder that I have not found at other places was that some type of fish roe in it, which made it really nice. It just added that extra texture and taste.
Overall, for a hotel standard, it is very worth the money, the service was friendly, though there are lots of people, and do book in advance before going.
