Mill - Pub in Bondi Junction New South Wales

I was a bit worried about our food since the pub was packed on Thursday night, but I was pleasantly surprised! Everything came out quicker than expected, and the portion sizes were generous. My wife and I both ordered sirloin steaks, and they were cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sauce paired beautifully with the steak, and the burgers were just as impressive, packed with fresh ingredients and great flavors. The service was good too, keeping up well despite the busy night.

At one point, I glanced into the kitchen and saw only three young chefs handling the entire rush. Mad respect to them! I'll admit, I had my doubts at first, wondering how they'd manage such a busy night, but they absolutely nailed it. Every dish was spot on, and they worked seamlessly under pressure. Hats off to the team for delivering such a great dining experience!

New chef it appears. $38 for a burnt steak 6 potatoes and 3 mushrooms in the sauce. Despite being a very loyal paying regular, I myself gently requested a few mushrooms to the chef. She didn't greet me kindly at all. I had burnt gravy poured on the plate. The bar staff are exceptional as the licensee. The cook perhaps may focus on quality of food as opposed to profit margins to impress new owners..??. Let's hope this chef addition doesn't obliterate the food offering in this otherwise warm welcoming local

Service was average. Ordered drinks and then had to follow up to see where they were after 10mins. When the meals were finished I had to clear my own dishes as no one would come and get them or clear the empty glasses.

Food was pretty good so compliments to the chef, but staff weren't very responsive or busy so to have to order myself, clear my own table and follow up on order and then have an app ask me to tip was not a very good experience in all honesty.

Been visiting this pub since it first opened 4 years ago in 2020, and I have to say it's a fairly nice looking pub with great seating, staff are really nice and friendly, and very cheap drinks during happy hours. Only thing that could give this pub a 5 star rating would be if there was more variety when it comes to their craft beers on their taps. I'm normally either choosing between Carlton Dry or Great Northern but the best option here for me anyway is Hahn's SuperDry so I can't really complain too much. Otherwise it's a nice, laid back vibes type of pub to have a few casual drinks on a nice weekend afternoon.

Excellent quality food.
Will from the kitchen is an amazing.cook.
And the waitress named Leigh, went the extra mile to attend to our needs while I was there with my daughter and her partner having early dinner.
I definitely recommend.
