went during their $1.50 oyster happy, they were all good I enjoyed this and recommend this.
The beef tartare was a bit of an off colour and the bread it was served with made it quite difficult to eat, we didn't have any knives to cut it up with so we just had to break it apart. The dish still had a nice taste though.
The duck liver was okay as well, just served with some bread and wasn't too overly salty, I guess plating could be improved though.
The vine tomatoes were okay as well. The steak was also nice, I got the sirloin with the cafe de paris sauce. The sauce wasn't too strong in taste. The chips were nice with it too.
The duck ragu pasta was miss, I didn't really taste much flavour and wouldn't recommend this dish.
Service was not too great either, staff weren't particularly welcoming in my opinion. I felt as if they were trying to ignore me in a way.
Overall considering the price point for the food I had some higher expectations. However I would recommend coming for the oyster happy hour.
