I waited over 25 minutes for my cocktail, and when I went back to check on it they had completely forgotten it. Keep in mind there was 6 "bartenders" reading the recipe. When it came out it just tasted like perfume. Don't even get me started on the price. It was also my birthday, happy birthday to me.

Can recommend the Chicken Saltimbocca, paired with a subtle 2023 Balter XPA. Great looking 1930's pub with an outdoor balcony area. Enjoy.

got lucky and came with a party of 7 without a booking on a saturday night. typical pub atmosphere but looks newly renovated. i got a $29 steak which was amazing. chips and mushroom gravy were tasty and it came with steamed broccolini which i enjoyed.

I will comment on the cleanliness of the female bathrooms though. Bins were overfull and toilets themselves were in a very poor condition. Just a suggestion - keep the bathrooms clean and tidy for patrons who pay good money to use your facilities.

Nice and pretty hotel, the food it's ok, but my beef Angus was a bit burned, I felt the burned flavour, I had pay $2.85 for an alioli sauce what I consider so expensive for what it is.
This place is near to my job so is convenient for us to come here

Really nice vibes and a good atmosphere but my salad wasn't that great. I had the pork belly salad. The salad to meat ratio was not ideal, not enough greens or lettuce. Also the pork belly should be crispy, tasted quite rubbery.

My mates had the schnitty and the burger and they said it was fine. Recommend ordering regular pub food if you come here.

Convenient location for those living in Chatswood. Good variety of sports on the tv. Food ok, great variety of beers. Staff seem disinterested towards the patrons, almost like the paying punter is a complete inconvenience. Staff need coaching on how to interact well with the customers, even if / when they don't feel like it. Chelsea Hotel on the other side of the interchange has less beer options, staff are more friendly ,?????

Went there twice and both times the cocktails were pretty bad, maybe I was unlucky but it was quite disappointing, first I asked if they knew how to make an appletini, nope, then I tried to order the apple cocktail on their menu, didn't have the ingredients, then we settled for what you see in the picture below, a cosmo (very watery) and a Manhattan (completely out of balance). I would suggest putting the cocktail's recipes behind the bar

Everything is great except they don't know how to cook. "Crispy" pork belly was rubbery. they fixed it, really appreciated that. But still can't eat because it turned rock hard.
And the cheese burger was burned but my bf is easy so he ate it anyway without complain. Service was great the place was nice. I just ordered wrong food. ?

Came here at night once and the female security out the front was extremely rude. We were trying to show her our IDs on our phones and held it in front of her so she could see it. But for some reason she said she can't see it unless we held it directly in front of her eyes? Seemed like some sort of power trip and made us feel very uneasy before even entering the premise.

However, usually my experience is quite good here except for that one time. It's a great pub for a feed and watch some sports. Plenty of seating around and the interior is quite nice after the renovations. Ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was very filling and had a generous coating of crumbs on the outside making it very crispy.

One of the better pubs in Chatswood, usually easy to find a seat after their renovation and lunch time deals are great too.

I had the schnitzel, which was cooked to perfection, the only disappointing note was having to pay $2.50 for sauce... other than that, I can't fault the schnitty. Chips and slaw were great too.

Service is top notch here as well, bartenders are quick to serve and friendly when ordering.

The place has truly changed from when I last saw it; the old pub appearance of the restaurant area now looks more like a 4 Star restaurant. I got myself an Angus beef burger today and I must admit it was a little more than I could handle?;
The burger patties or yous were 100% solid meat and were as firm as the smash patties( a smash burger patty is basically a burger patty that's been pressed down on the grill so you don't get any of that access juicy bounciness which also makes the burger patty much more solid and firm, but still really tasty). All in all, it was a very satisfying meal

I walked it after work, had a couple drinks and then was asked to leave for no reason, apparently I had too much to drink. I asked why and the lady said alcohol effect people differently. Definitely was not drunk, I could walks a straight line, speak proper sentences and still while I was on the phone she asked me to leave...

Decent place to go for a drinks night out with friends. Located close to the train station and one of the only places for a nice and relaxing meet with friends. Not too expensive, just the right price. Nice expansive menu with many options.

They had recently added a few rooms and this is very nice. The design has definitely improved recently. Would recommend.

Bad Customer Service, one man with long hair came to me that he will not allow me to bring snacks for outside, i can understand but the way he talk so rude, staring at me and no education person, he shouldn't hired in that great place. I always came after my work finish and always bring my snacks there cause during that time their kitchen closed and i love to drink with some snacks. So disappointed. I will never go back.

Looking for great pub food in a sea of Asian restaurants The Orchard Hotel is definately the place to go. Great selection of pub classic meals. Lots of it fresh and with in budget.

We use to come here for the food and the beer. After ten years the food has gone so far down hill it's hit bedrock - such a shame too. Their beef Angus burger was one of my favorites. So now we come here just for the beer and the old memories.
I remember when the inside dining areas use to be smallish spaces next to the bars. Since the renovation there is far greater seating opportunities for groups of people to sit and enjoy th intake of calories.
The brown earth tones of the room does denote a very relaxed environment which borderlines on classy and romantic. However any sense of these are quickly done away with from the cheers of patrons as they watch their sporting events on the hanging television sets.
If they stopped taking shortcuts with their meal prep and focused on slower yet fresher delivery of meals then I'm sure they could reestablish their credibility as an enjoyable bar and restaurant. Right now it's lacking the passion for good quality food.

A surprisingly charming little place. Don't be fooled by the exterior. It is a newly renovated place with lots of seating areas and an inclosed patio area. The food is great and there is a wide beer selection.

We had Sunday lunch here. Unassuming from the outside, the venue opens up into an expansive and welcoming place, split into Al fresco, sports bar, smoking area and restaurant. We tried the schnitzy, pizza and crab meat pasta - all were aces. Can't fault the location either. Will surely visit again.

Really enjoyed my time getting drinks and food with some colleagues here. The staff at the place was very friendly and handled a large group of us very well. Also enjoy the location, as it's right next to Chatswood station.

Nice beer garden at the top with nice meals. A good sized area downstairs too for some fun on the pokies. Someone got lucky and won the $50,000 grand jackpot just the other day!!!
