Things here are pretty simple...and that's alright by me. The place is being renovated, so there is no pub downstairs for a meal, but there is one up the road. I was sent an email about access to the property, but I didn't see it, so I called and was given all the info I needed. The room was basic but had everything I needed. It was clean, had a bed, towels, a TV...and someone has built a bench across the window, which I used as a desk. I slept well, I got cleaned up and I left. I would stay here again. All the best with the renovations.

The room was basic but clean and QUIET.The location was ideal for me as I was using public transport and the hotel is about100metres from the station. Also I was attending conference at the services club (next door).
The shared hygiene facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable. However as all the accom. was on the first floor.access could be challenging for someone with walking difficulties.
One suggestion to the owner, if they read this, a bench type seat in the shower vestibule would be nice.
