It's been a long time since I had customer service so friendly from a pub. Obvious the staff have a great working environment and enjoy their jobs. Food was above average for a pub, wait times were low, and great atmosphere in the beer garden.

Took a little bit to get service and a table to get seated but to be expected on a busy night

Oh my God, the potato cakes were the most amazing potato cakes I've ever had and the cauliflower bites were just so fresh so flavorful and paired so perfectly with the sauce
I'm dreaming about those potato cakes we were fighting for them at the table

My friend got a steak sandwich. I got the kimchi Philly cheesesteak and we also got a chicken Parma

The shoe string fries were quite delicious so were the sandwiches as well as the chicken Parma

We were quite pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was, as pub food doesn't always hit the spot. But honestly, the quality of food here was spot on the flavors were good. The meat was good. Everything was just really good. I would definitely come back here again. Some really solid portion sizes!

A great space for Sunday roast. Sunshine shade and a very relaxed vibe. Food was good without being amazing but that's the beauty of the place. Good service with attentive staff. Quiet location away from the hustle of Brunswick st.

Great beer garden to bring dogs. Food is very good, fresh and tasty, home made quality feel (not cheap commercial). Staff are very friendly.
Toilets are nice, modern, clean.
Cafe blinds on the beer garden help a lot.

Went to see a blues band. It's your classic bar, band playing in the corner, dark lighting, a bit retro. Tables inside, outside as well. It's spacious, but quickly gets crowded. Staff are all good, good selection of beers,food,wine .... the blues band were great. Well worth a visit or 2

Dog friendly pub that's managed to negate hipster vibes and be a location for everyone. Nice coveted beer garden on street side for dogs and a menu that caters for vegetarian and vegan. We enjoyed our meal and all staff mer a delight.

The best roast I've had in a while! Great menu and lovely atmosphere in the beer garden, live music on a Sunday afternoon too. Dog friendly beer garden, good value for money too.

Very adorable local pubs:) my fav place especially on steak night!! Friendly staff and nice food. We had chicken parmi and steak on different date and both are super great and reasonable price.

My partner and I could try different tap beer whenever we visit. We love here cuz it is not too busy like other restaurants and pubs in Fitzroy(Brunswick st is always crazy:() and so warm and comfy environment.

The food was well presented and very flavoursome. The atmosphere very friendly with many small grouos enjoying a sunny Sunday out. An added bonus wzs being able to bring our family dog along for lunch.

Been coming for years and still consistently good. One of the few places open on a public holiday still serving up great steak nights with fabulous service

3.5 ?? the service is fast and very friendly. Kiddo got eye fillet which they smashed before I got to take photos. It comes with a choice of two sides for $45, not too bad, the steak seemed quite tender when I cut through it. The chips are the thick cut ones which they didn't really appreciate. They rather have the thin fries that comes with my burger.

I really liked my burger, it's not very greasy but I would prefer the thick cut fries instead (so kiddo and I swapped)

Hubby had the barramundi which he liked, but I found it too buttery and a little bit overcooked.

The venue was quite loud inside and I could hardly hear my friends.

The Rainbow is a homely and a local feel good pub with family friendly staff who aim to please. Great food, especially the special the day, Nepalese curry
We hear that the roast on Sundays are good. A wide range of beers available on tap and reasonable wines. Also, dog friendly.

The food was comforting, good portion, great flavour and balance. The staff were really nice as well. Their vegan options were wide in variety and packed a punch.

Stars revised, from 1 star to 5 stars. We now understand the pub was dealing with a new booking system. We understand that there are teething problems sometimes with new systems but upon our last visit everything had been resolved. Thank you, great experience.

Quiet pub on a Tuesday afternoon drinks and an early dinner (kitchen opens at 430pm). Friendly staff, beautiful food and nice clean place. Gets busy in the evening so book ahead

This is a serious good place for friends. The environment is lively and lovely. The bathroom is clean.

The staff are quite friendly and care free.

We had beef burgers and beers in the courtyard.

FYI, you'll get a discount for burgers on Mondays. The range is not wide but the taste blows your mind.

Coat little old school suburban pub. No mainstream beers on tap so your taste buds will have to accept this fact. Meals were appetising and flavoursome. Outdoor beer garden was homely and inviting. Nice place to cure 3 hours of boredom.

This is a pleasant pub visited a few times, a place that makes you feel welcome. Relaxed vibe makes it suitable for all. Nice courtyard but seating inside also good. Food has generally been nice.

I had my first time visit on Sunday after my wife suggested we try the Sunday vegan roast. It is a popular place but we were quickly seated by the lovely staff.

There is table service but ordering is done at the bar. Great range of beers on tap and I enjoyed an IPA by local brewery Fixation.

Our meals arrived pretty fast and the roast comes on a large enamel plate with plenty of food! The nut based 'meat loaf' was moist and flavourful and accompanied with vegetables, some sides and even a Yorkshire pudding. I devoured mine quickly and lucky my lady has a smaller appetite because I finished hers as well.

The hotel has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and I look forward to returning for more roasts and IPA soon.

Brothers Adam and Jason, with their excellent staff, have this place humming to perfection.
Plenty of beers for the most discerning types and food is outstanding, watching the footy on the big screen in the beer garden or playing some pool.
Love the fact that it's Off The Beaten Track only a street or two back and it looks like not much is going on from the outside and you go inside, and you are wowed with the most relaxed bar in Melbourne.
Live music and fantastic artist regularly perform here.
Happy staff and congratulations on making a place look so cool and still can't get over how good the beer garden is.
