Amazing food and friendly staff, a lovely place to hang out ?

Ordered a pizza first time at kalgoorlie, meatlovers had barely any topping,never get one there again,felt like taking it back

Had a late lunch there, we had the rec burger absolutely yummy.

The food was okay, but the service was just awful. The guy with piercings was just rude. I would come back for the space and MAYBE the food, only.
Update: went more times, good food cooked by João.

A friend and I went to the Rec the other Saturday night, ordered a pizza to eat while we had had a couple in the beer garden, was great. BUT the sleazy co-owner Matt and the lousey pizza I took home for my kid, NO WAY WILL I'LL BE BACK. There's my feedback, Matt

Great pub food (very delicious). Staff friendly, quick service. Toilets very clean! Loved the layout. Highly recommended.

Sat in the beer garden and had the Monster Snitty. Never in my life have I had a snitty served in a large pizza box. If you're in Kalgoorlie and looking for an epic feed at a reasonable price...make sure you visit the Rec. The beer is icy cold as well.

Went there for lunch and sat in the beer garden as we had our dog with us. Initially ordered the T-Bone steak of the menu to be told they didn't have any. Then, we ordered the battered fish and chips with salad. The chips were delicious, the fish was rather oily (needed to be drained longer), and the salad was a small pile of mixed leaves without any other salad like tomatoes, Cucumber etc and no dressing. The meal was big and reasonably priced, but at the same token disappointing.

We stopped past the Rec beer garden with friends and all the kids on Sunday for yummy pizza and an arvo drink. Super warm under the heat lamps even on a cold day! Pizza was TO DIE FOR! very generous with the toppings and we even had leftovers for the next day???"? wood fired pizza is so much better than regular. Super friendly staff and quick service. We love the Rec and can't wait to come back and explore the rest of the new pizza menu. They also had heaps gluten free options for me? super family friendly venue! The kids enjoyed playing together and running around while we relaxed and had a drink?

Bar staff are fantastic especially Ibo they all need a pay rise due to constantly answering "no sorry there isn't a food menu"..

Relaxing place to read and drink, the staff are 5 star with service and making you feel welcome

Met up with Family and Friend's for dinner, chose the Rec as we wanted a beer garden, bar service was very friendly, couldn't choose what cocktail to drink, so barman suggested French Martini, great choice! Thank you! Great food, we had a great night.

Great donuts and great service.

We booked my partner's 40th birthday party in the beer garden at The Rec on VERY short notice. Carrie and the team were so lovely and accommodating. We had the absolute best afternoon and evening.

We ordered chips, pizzas and other food for sharing. Everything we had was delicious! They even brought out a giant Connect 4 for the kids to play with. To top it off, we had the most delicious hot, fresh, soft with just the right little bit crispy donuts at the end. I am going to be craving them for the rest of my life ?

Bar service was quick and lovely. I highly rate the Backhanded Panda and Recspresso Martini cocktails!

It's such a fun, friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Awesome pizza and Karaoke on this night

Went in with family visiting Boulder and checked online for lunch menu which looked appealing; however when we arrived they had a small lunch menu. Very disappointed and won't visit again?

Nice beer garden and I ordered the buffet on the night. It wasn't too bad for the price.

Regardless of the accommodation, go see Rose and ask her for a pizza...."The Wreck"
OMG... best pizza i have ever had, and I've eaten pizza all over Australia ....you'll be back for more...

The rooms were cheap and not too bad, staff were friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, this caught me off guard. Had the blt and some cinammon donuts. 12/10 for the food would highly recommend.

Went for lunch on a Saturday at 130pm . Asked for a beer. Felt like it was to much to ask and i was disburbing the servers conversation.
Rude and poor service.
I was going to have lunch and spend a few bucks.
The renovations look great and i was looking forward to watching the UFC on Sunday. Ill give that a miss.
The one beer i had was good tho.

Had pizzas there twice in two weeks, the first lot were some of the best I've had, I think a young girl made them.

Second time around, one of them was made improperly and the new one made my cousin throw up afterwards. They weren't made the same as last time that's for sure.

I try to shop at places that are consistently good, especially if there's big amounts of money involved for food.

We were surprised with the quality of the pizza and the buffet. The woodfired pizzas were a real treat, maybe a little pricey for the higher end choices, but still very tasty. Buffet is great value, and plenty of seating (indoors and outdoors) to suit your needs.
