The Rose Hotel & Motel

On Friday 1 November, my partner and I dined at the Rose Hotel. The barramundi that we ordered was cooked to perfection with a crispy skin. It was served with rice, vegetables and a delicious coconut and lime sauce. A split Moreton Bay Bug was included. A most memorable experience!

Had the chicken burger for dinner, which used to be absolutely amazing 8-9/10. However this burger was atrocious, chicken looked grey, no longer coleslaw, instead a single piece of lettuce. The chicken was definitely pre-crumbed and re-heated. I would not pay $24 for this burger again.

Waited for an hour for a steak without any warning of a wait time. Then received what looks like a child's portion. I would post picture if possible. Extreme unhappy. Had a great brisket Tuesday

We stay for 2 nights in room 19. The reviews we read were either good or bad so we had mixed feelings about the stay
Happy to say that we enjoyed our stay. The room had just been refurbished and newly painted, with an updated bathroom, plus soft bedding and towels. The room was spotless, with the only comment that the decor and furniture was dated. However a big plus from us.
The hotel was welcoming and lively, the bar food was tasty and served in big portions. At a price of $160 per night (including a $25 voucher per night/per room) the stay was extremely good value.
The hotel is in the centre of Bunbury, so couldn't be better located.
Whenever we need to stay in Bunbury, this will be our first choice

I had lamb 22 dollar meal on 8 July. Lunch.the lamb was very chewy bit like soft leather. Same last time. I like your food generally. Any chance of getting in some nice lamb. Thanks. SM
