Located across the Wynyard station exit on George Street. A good pub restaurant option open till late at night on weekends as well. Friendly staff with very quick service. Visited on a Sunday evening and had Lamb Shank, Battered fish and Long Island ice tea. Food quality was good with ample portions. Prices are little above average but worth the quality.

Came by for drinks with friends after walking around Darling Harbour/Barangaroo with pretty much all bars/pubs closed on a Saturday (ikr?). Landed on the Royal George. The QR table ordering facility was great and were were able to order drinks which arrived pretty fast. The cocktail was ok, however tasted a little diluted. Customer service was great. Place was clean including bathroom downstairs past the pokies. Jugs of Heineken were $25 which was quite reasonable IMO.

Love the atmosphere at this bar! Play pool for free and get drinks with your mates. Nothing but good times..

Friendly staff, tasty food available late at night when everywhere else is closed. The Fried Chicken Burger was filling and amazing.

Only comment I can make for improvement is to ensure that tables are wiped down between customers. Had to do that myself.

I had the most amazing birthday here. Ryan at the bar showed me immaculate hospitality and gave prompt service, as did everyone else. I would definitely recommend this bar to a friend. Decent prices for CBD as well!

The security is so impolite and talk to us that no money but want to play!?!! What kind of services with the bad service!??? This is his picture and should tell him how to services! So bad impression

The staff were great, a very good bar. We loved being there but the new security guard is very rude. He was yelling ant everybody to leave. He pushed a guy who wanted to go in the bathroom. He also questioned my friend who wanted a drink after work saying "what do you want" when he presented his ID, only actually letting him in when he said he had just finished work. Too bad for this bar (we work for merivale, in two days it's second time this has happened). - 28/12/2023

The service was excellent, especially to me as an American. We use different terms for things and they, along with my local mate, helped me figure things out. The food was excellent, and again, I was beyond appreciative of their patience.

Busy Bold pub
Enjoy happy hour food and drinks ( yes happy hour food specials) at a very popular and vibrant pub. We sat outside and good some cocktails and burgers.
Inside fun and vibrant but be prepared to shout. Good for after work or catch up with the gang.
Toilet on premises.
Easy walk from Wynard train station.
