80th birthday party for forty people aged from 2yrs to 90.
Dining area was set up lovely on arrival.
Staff all too wiling to help, nothing was a bother to them. Friendly and professional.
Lots of different orders for meals- made hectic by us, but the staff made it all look easy.
Meals were great, venue superb, service was exceptional. Well done

The Shoreline is a great restaurant, the menu is varied, always seasonal, and well cooked. Plenty of choices for everyone. The front of house team are always fantastic, Jess is always a stand out. We have never had a bad experience here.

Four of us for dinner. Service was good. Meals were good size and quality. I had porterhouse steak, size was what asked for and cooking exactly how I wanted it...medium.
Prices fairly completive.....not through roof like most most places these days.

Thanks guys for a nice night.

We enjoyed a family gathering recently at Shoreline. There were ten of us including small children. The service from the staff was very good, the food just what you'd wish for at a good hotel, and the venue itself was perfect for all age groups. Thank you Shoreline for a memorable evening.

Our family couldn't fault the service provided by Katelyn prior to our function and particularly Liz on the day. Every request was met with a smile and the space provided was just perfect. Thank you Liz for making the day extra special for us. Highly recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere, have not been since renovations and it is absolutely beautiful!
Food was spot on!
Great service!
Had a lovely lady named Kelsie who always made sure we were looked after and even offered to make my baby some pureed vegetables!
Was so glad i came back!
The food wasn't too bad. It was the perfect size. Our friends had the 1.5 kilo lamb & that looked fantastic & smelt beautiful ?

First time visiting the Shoreline, had heard good things about it and wasn't disappointed. Very nice place to go for a meal with friends, the menu had plenty of delicious options. I only visited the dining room area and was very impressed. Will be going back again

Went here for a family dinner recently as we wanted to try somewhere different. Given that there were a lot of us service was a little slower but that's understandable but after a long wait some people found their food more or less cold so it had to be returned.

I had a meat lovers chicken parmigiana whilst it was nice it didn't keep it's heat very long and some toppings were sliding everywhere personally for $34 I would expect a little better but the chips were very well done being perfectly seasoned.

I also had a slice of a Pit boss pizza and whilst some people found their food unsatisfactory this certainly was not the case. Everything about the pizza was great and I would come back here just for the pizza alone definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Pizza was fairly priced too which is an added bonus

The atmosphere of The Shoreline Hotel was fantastic and the new renovations make it feel very relaxing with ample space around the restaurant
The Shoreline Bottleshop attempted to over-charge me $4 on my purchase, accused me of theft and harassed me and, in addition to this ill treatment sold me faulty product being two cans of Ned Whisky and Cola 6% that were not sealed properly. This is a potential health issue due to the presence of bacteria.
Congratulations Shoreline on the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. I have travelled to tough parts of South Africa and had the natives treat me better than your business.
People, save time, money and stress and purchase at 9/11 Waterfront, 9/11 Shoreline, Porters on Clarence Street, BWS Eastlands, or Dan Murphy's in Percy Street for traditional, helpful and polite customer service.

This is a bloody nice pub and restaurant. Beyond that I cannot say but I saw great staff and felt a nice atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Won't be returning unless the menu and staff quantities and energy change. Have always had a good meal and experience here, but things appear to have changed or on the day we were there anyway. Booked a table a couple of weeks prior for 6 yesterday (13/5) for 1pm, the polite female waitress who kindly adjusted it to 7 and took our drink and lunch orders was the only flash of creditable customer service we received for the whole experience. Initially, I had to retrieve the tray of drinks myself as the 1/3 full restaurant wasn't maintainable by the quantity of staff. We were very disappointed in the timing, quality and value of each meal we had. The youngest had to wait the longest by at least 10 minutes and his and other pizza on the table were sloppy at best and not even worthy of a doggy bag. The table next to us who turned up well after, received all of their meals first. There was no salt and pepper on the table, no water topping up and generally no care or attention at all after drinks and meals were taken. $244.00 not well spent.

I've mostly been in here for a catchup and a drink or two in the cafe area but this time I decided to have a meal here.

Plenty of parking out the front but if it's particularly busy you can easily find parking a few steps away at the shopping centre. There's a lot on offer with a cafe, sports bar and dining area.

I decided on the Aussie Parmigiana with a cool beer to go with it. It was just over $30 which is good value for the size of the meal and very tasty. Service was friendly and probably a few minutes longer than I'm used to but I'd put that down to them being busy. Certainly didn't take away from the overall experience.

You have good, clean toilet facilities, outdoor areas if you choose to dine there and even a place fir the kiddies to keep themselves preoccupied. And if you like to have a bet or two you have those options there also.

Good food, good service and a good wine list. You can choose from 3 eating areas. We went on the coldest December day in 50 years (felt like mid-winter to us) and the group outside kept coming in and out of the doors! However, they eventually came inside out of the cold ?

I was impressed with this restaurant. The venue was bigger than expected and had a number of dining options. The Dining Room was really well appointed, modern and classy. The menu was expansive with lots of options, including a great range of parmi's and pizza's. Our whole party enjoyed their food - I had the risotto, which was yum. I got a Bombe Alaska, which was tasty but quite small with a disappointingly little amount of meringue - but not so much that I'd knock off a star. The 5 star rating is not just about the food, this place marries good food, good atmosphere and good service really well and isn't too expensive. Great family restaurant.

Wouldn't recommend, whilst the staff were lovely, booked 12 months in advance for my father in laws 80th birthday, no table service for drinks, had to ask for adequate cutlery, kicked us out 30 mins before close, table of 24 many $$$ spent didn't seem to matter to them even though we were a clean, unobtrusive bunch. On the upside food was good.

Visited the dinning room. Will never
Return. Went in a party of four, two meals had to be sent back. Chicken schnitzel was bought out instead of plant based. Mashed potato without vegetables was asked to accompany another meal, mashed sweet potato was bought out, after it was sent back they came back to us to report they didn't have any ordinary mashed potato, only sweet potato, something they could have said when the order was put in. We all found ouf chips dry, tasteless and definitely over cooked. All salads were with extremely minimal dressing, slaw tasted like plain cabbage! I rang to complain, spoke to senior member of staff because manager was not available. He apologise, agreed these things shouldn't happen but made no offer of recompense or to say anything would be done about it. As a business owner myself, I don't like reviews like this one without an opportunity to fix the problem. I offered that opportunity but it wasn't taken up by them.
Very poor management, even worse service

The sports bar was comfortable.

Live music and quite a few screens, pub grub was ok. Great view from the terrace and friendly staff.

The formal restaurant looked nice but prices were a bit expensive with $30 mains.

Sadly, my latest dining experience at the Shoreline "Dining Room" was not as good as our previous visit.
The online booking system said there was no table available at any time on the chosen day. We phoned and found out the system was not working correctly. The person who took the call was very accommodating and arranged a table at our preferred time with level access for the elderly person in our group.
We arrived on time but were ignored while waiting to be seated. This turned out to be the theme for the day. No offer of water for the table (we had to get it from a side table ourselves), no approach from the wait staff for 45 minutes, no asking how our meals were, no asking if we wanted dessert, no suggestion of coffee/tea (we had to ask), kept waiting to pay the bill, no 'thank you' as we left. It's not like the staff were run off their feet - the Dining Room area was only at about 50% capacity.
The meals were ok, but nothing special (pub food rather than restaurant quality).
In short, it was a bit disappointing.

Came in for a late lunch and was able to eat outside in the cafe section with our pooch. Food was delicious and whilst there's limited gins in the cafe bar, the lounge bar across has a local range of gins which was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful venue as well

Went last week for a Fathers day lunch, set in a cosy boot . For entrees we had croquettes and salt and Pepper Calamari ,both were yummy . Main course was a caesar salad with chicken, big portion fish of the day and party Benedict with sauce Hollandaise all yummy. Staff was very friendly and helpful ?, definitely coming back

First time here and definitely will go back. We got the seafood marinara, chips and gravy, chicken schnitzel and all were served hot. Glad they have different sizes for their pasta!

Really good place for celebrations. Situated in a great location. Clean and tidy place with tasty food. But a little bit expensive and take a bit too long to serve.

Shoreline Hotel is in Howrah. Three different restaurants depending on how you wish to dine. All three give the same great service. The staff are very pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely and clean inside with some great views and situated very near to Howrah Beach.
All the meals are very generous in size and they cater for children.

Restaurants pretty good. Kid friendly out the back. Play equipment handy for the kids to keep themselves amused

Absolutely love the decor and layout of the new Shoreline! Loved the share platter and the drinks list was brilliant! Will definitely visit again on my next trip to Hobart!

Great service and the food was really well prepared, presented and great eating. Thank you. Would absolutely come back here again.

Lovely service and tasty food - we had the duck breast and chicken schnitzel. The chicken was a decent serving size but the duck could have had more sauce and a couple more pieces. Also the bread platter was a bit small for what you pay and food took a while to come out, but delicious and fresh and would go back!

Guinness Pot Pie was very tasty however gravy was far too runny and a spoon was offered when the meat and mushrooms had already been eaten. Everything else was good. Great prices and very large servings.
