Well-dressed wait staff, quaint, warm, and pleasant ambience.

We really enjoyed every dish we ordered - steak tartare, steam mussels and sage gnocchi. They all delivered a rich yet delicate flavour. The vibe at the courtyard is really chill and simply perfect for a nice and relaxed summer night. We'll definitely come back again.

A beautiful, niche restaurant in an east-to-get-to location. Ate here on a Wednesday night for Half Price Gnocchi. Incredible food, light, fresh and so tasty for an amazing price. The best value for money restaurant I've been to in a long time! Tables are well spaced for a sense of privacy and greenery helps muffle the sounds form the nearby road and train station as well as create an intimate feel. A hidden gem for sure!

Great little spot to catch a bite to eat and wash it down with some tasty bears. A few minutes walk to the mighty MCG. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended the thrice fried fries, delicious.

Food and service was perfect. It was a very relaxed vibe on a Thursday evening. We had the booth at the back of the restaurant - perfect. Super great staff. Ohhh, and a great wine selection at good prices.

Service at this place wasn't great. Three of us walked in, staff behind the bar barely greeted us and when we asked where we could sit to eat we were given a bare minimum response. After sitting down and ordering food using the QR code, we waited 30 minutes to ask what was going on, only to be told the app wasn't working. Would've been nice to have been told something like that when we had first walked in. Overall the place had a nice atmosphere however wish staff were a bit more welcoming.

I had my 30th birthday at Tippler & co. on the 26th of Aug in the private dining area upstairs and we had a wonderful time!!!

Gus and the team at Tippler and co. hosted 45 of my guests (friends and family). We had the private dining area all for ourselves for lunch.

The serving portions were very generous, food was delicious, Gus made sure that all my guests had their dietary requirements met, as I had a mix of adults and children attending.

The staff was great at communicating, serving and making us feel very well taken care of.

Parking was a little tricky but if you let your friends and family know in advance to public transport to the restaurant you will be just fine. It's an easy access from Melbourne CBD and from Richmond (very central).

I would highly recommend Tippler and Co. and I would go there again for a meal! (The gnocchi and the fries there are an absolute banger, you have have to have the gnocchi!!!)

I had a function in the Mural room and it was excellent. There were 65 people and it was a great size. There was area to stand and also to sit down. The bar and wait staff were so friendly and helpful and it was very easy to book and organise.

Great little pub, never had known it was there until a mate took me there after the footy. Service was great and cosy on a winters night. Beers good as well.

Great little bar. Attended a private function. Service was superb. Good selection of tasty nibbles. Can get a bit warm when the numbers increase. But it is a great little place. Parking is a challenge, as most spots around there are restricted to 1 hr until 10PM.

Another warm and relaxed evening at Tippler & Co. The ambience across all the dining areas is just beautiful. And love that I'm just a short stroll away from the best gnocchi I've ever had. Vegetarian so far is my favourite! Great value and service too.

From friendly greeting on arrival, care & service from staff to a very enjoyable meal for all, it really was a very pleasant experience.
We were going to football as were most of the diners and the meals were served quickly but not rushed.
This wasn't our first time to Tipplers and definitely won't be our last.

Dined with a group of ladies on Wed 14 Dec in the upstairs dining area. I've been here several times before and it's always lovely. Had the fennel gnocchi which was delicious. Shared the cauliflower salad which was also delicious. Enjoyed a bottle of Coombe Yarra Valley Chardonnay. Good quality food and wine and great service by all staff.

Gus and his team and Tippler & Co hosted a fantastic cocktail masterclass for my work team and one of our partner agencies. They were professional, patient and super helpful throughout both the organising process and the masterclass. The venue and event setup was beautiful, and the Cocktails & snacks were delicious. It was a great team building activity, and everyone involved had heaps of fun! I would definitely recommend Tippler & Co for a work function, or even just a night out. Thanks again Tippler & Co, for a great event!

On a cold Melbourne night after the footy, arriving to our reserved table was a warm and inviting experience. Fantastic service from a very attentive and friendly waiter Mitch with quick service even though it was busy. I loved my gnocchi and the Shiraz G&T was the perfect recommendation. Will be back!

Had great meal on Saturday evening involving excellent food and wine to suit. We were give a 7 course shared plate dinner. All meals were great and really suited our style of eating. I would recommend The Tippler to all my friends.

Had a dinner meeting here and we were greeted by the owner, Gus, who happily took care of us.

We came on Wednesday so I ordered their special Wednesday menu, mussels marinara spaghetti (which unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of as I was hungry).

I also ordered their Tippler fried chicken and blood orange spritz as my drink.

The foods were really delicious and I finished them all in no time.

Overall, it was a really nice experience. I will definitely go back next time to try their other menus on different days.

We return to The Tippler time and time again - great customer service by the staff and always a delight to sample some of the unique local beers on tap. Food Menu offers quite a range to suit tastes and meals are very reasonably priced. This place is a little gem ! For anybody contemplating a fully catered event the Mural Room upstairs is also a great option - I had my 60th birthday there a few short years ago - food / drinks and service was outstanding.

Really nice venue for dinner, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the Banana & Date Glazed Pork Ribs and Pan Fried Gnocchi. The ribs were excellent, the meat just fell off the bone and the Gnocchi was also excellent, I thought about ordering another serve!! But we decided to share a desert. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Recently we had a large family gathering at Tippler and Co. The staff team were extremely warm, friendly. flexible and helpful. The venue was great and the food wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Anzac Day lunch was excellent venue brilliant , but importantly the communication and follow up from Gus (Owner) was above and beyond. He is successful as a business owner and of course runs a well staffed and catered business. Great experience.
