The food was devine and consistent! We were recommended the schnitzel, we also got the steak and two sides, both cooked to absolute perfection! The greens we got were so flavoursome, the gravy choices were delicious. The steak had like a crust but was perfect in the middle. If it opened before 4pm we would have been there everyday for lunch and dinner! Loved! Compliments to the chefs and the friendly staff. Can't wait to eat here again when back in sydney!

Waited in line for about 20 minutes. Stinginggggggggg for a beer and finally I get my chance but no. The keg needs to be changed. Not blaming the young dude behind the bar. But one person on shift... smh. Figured i'd try my luck down stairs at the other bar and see if I'd be served quicker but no. 20 minutes later got served a short jug of mid strength Great Northern for $22.
Maybe it just wasn't my day but definitely not chuffed.

Nice dark old pub on the inside and a beer garden out the back. The best thing about this place is the food. I've eaten here several times and I'm never disappointed. The staff are always friendly and personable, even when you can tell their a little green to the industry. If you're looking for a premium pub meal. This is the place. Prices are a little higher than other places but you get what you pay for here. I don't mind dropping the dollars if I'm sure to be satisfied.

Had lunch on Saturday.
We enjoyed the food but not the wait.

Waited 15min for beer and lemon lime bitters (2 groups in front ordering 4 drinks).
Waited 51min for the food and had to remind the staff that we've been waiting too long before the schitty came out.

Wonderful gem ??'? of a spot. Great food, large venue and reasonable prices (in a very pricey neighborhood!). Conveniently located to the SCG and Allianz stadiums. ??

??- Don't miss the lovely courtyard, just head downstairs and it's out the back.

???" Went with a group, friends had delish burgers and I had an amazing eggplant dip and pickle platter (I'm vegetarian). Kiddo had the standard pub kid menu fare.

? Nice drink selection, fair bit on tap.

? Dog friendly

Friendly staff, conveniently located to any public transport on Oxford St. ? Parking a bit tricky as most city street parking can be.

Really fun dance floor on a Saturday night and can't fault anything but I've been here twice in two years and got covid both times! Got covid on the dance floor here again this weekend.

Great schnitzels, crispy and juicy. Mine was a bit raw around the bone in the drummette portion of the wing.

I'd recommend the chips over the mash, the mash tastes blended and so it's a bit goopy

Stopped by for few beverages before heading to stadium to watch WWC game place is great location for pre drinks. Price was fair, large choice of drinks got to love me a cider. Ordered side of chips portion was large a little too much salt but Ketchup countered that. Downfall ladies single toilet lock did not work even though two were fitted so had to use down stairs which were clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and service was professional and prompt.

Best chicken Parma/sniddy I have had in Sydney. Weekend lunches are pretty empty so easy to get a table especially with young kids.
I also previously had the burger and it was also top notch!
One of my favourite places for a decent pub lunch

The staff were nice but the Negroni was just disappointing ....didn't even feel like it had Gin instead fully felt it was whisky.

Not the best Schnitty/Schnitzel in Sydney, I put it outside my top 5. It is good, but is a bit too crumby and for the price it is the most expensive and you don't even get greens/veg. The Parmi is much better one of the best I've had and the separate side salad is really good. The atmosphere is great here and lots of space, really nice staff too. Just expensive for a pub and the schnitty doesn't live up to the claim.

Only two bar staff and very few cooks in the kitchen. Took at least two hours to get our food to the table. When my friend told the waiter that he did not receive his food, he was told: you have already eaten.

This happened Infront of everyone and the waiter dint apologise either.

Would not recommend this place.

The Unicorn is an extremely comfortable hotel with a relaxed vibe and great indoor and outdoor seating options. The food is very good and they have an excellent range of beers on tap with regular rotation of exciting craft varieties.
Above all the staff are incredible, interpersonal and welcoming. Manager Chris is a very funny dude with a sharp wit but he also understands how to deliver impeccable customer service and satisfaction.
Do yourself a favour, grab a group, go to the Unicorn and have yourselves a mythical night!

Best Schnitty in Sydney and a great vibe for a beer after a Swans game! An Oxford street staple that's right next to Indian home diner, has friendly staff and cold beer

The Mary's fellas took over this pub when it was back in distress. Gone were its 80s 90s hay days, when you'd have to be as popular as Usain Bolt to get through the door. It's pretty popular now, and the team there were busy and competent...and friendly..not something you can rely upon, where good staff are harder to find than a bacon sarny at a bar mitzvah. The home lager is a good sub for the sold-out reschs. The parmy is certainly not hiding. The addition of the wing is welcome, the ham bits are...bits of ham. The sauce and cheese play their role. The chips may be on-trend, but not on point.
This is a good, reliable place. It's not a cheap eat, or a great eat. It's reliable and very full priced.

Nice local Pub in Paddington Sydney.
Good food and friendly staff.
The hotel is currently closed because of covid restrictions but the bottle shop is open.

Nice pub with free pool (!!!!!) and good cocktails, craft beers. They serve Mary's burgers here which is a good draw card. They also serve Jatz and french onion dip which is a nice point of difference compared to other venues in the area.

Great service from all the staff here tonight. We had to sit in the courtyard because one of our guests had a dog with her. Chris the floor manager went across to the servo to get a bottle of gas so that we had outdoor heating. Much appreciated!

The food was enjoyed by all. The highly recommended schnitzel is definitely worth trying. A big piece of chicken with mash and gravy went down a treat.

Still good after many years. Parma is tasty. Very large portion and real chicken breast but the ham and cheese let it down a bit. Just tastes a bit cheap on top of the amazing chicken.

I went just for the schnitzel and is not worth it paying 28 dollars for a small thing over the mashed potato and gravy. Definitely in not eating there any more. Pub is cool
