Verandah Bar, Sydney NSW

I had the pleasure of attending a Christmas party here, and it was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly nice and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and cared for. The ambiance was perfect for the occasion, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend this place for any event or a casual meal. Will definitely be back!

Unfortunately after having attended the verandah bar public bar on numerous occasions with a group of old work crowd (and happy with venue as we kept returning)had booked for our Xmas get together in December 5/12 (booking was made on 9/11) only to turn up and be told private function happening we were now in main restaurant no prior update given main restaurant entirely different music quite loud (blaring) we are there for a catch up in the middle of the day so our entire group was not happy you need to be able to hear to catch up
Fair enough you have taken a later booking for entire public bar but at least have the courtesy to let prior bookings know absolute let down thanks so much we will not be returning
Also always received prompt after prior bookings on how we enjoyed experience didn't come this time!
I have just looked at my review which was 2 stars 2 stars and 1 and it is coming up as a rating of 4 unbelievable that's all I can add

I went with a friend and we ordered food and drinks at the same time. It took less than 10 mins for me to get my food but took her more than 45 mins. My friend pushed few times and was suggested to wait as this bar uses a shared kitchen with next door. My friend was so pissed.

Went for EOY Celebrations, WoW food, service, ambience, hospitality... From the moment i entered i was welcomed and attended to so professionally and an experience i will never forget.. Thanks 😀

The place was full on a Thur but good vibe. Not over crowded. Only came for a drink. The wedges on menu were a good serving for a few ppl. Great location to Metro station for access. Plenty of bar staff so easy to order drinks. Would come again for a after work drinks.
