Best kids jumping pillow! (Free, fun for adults too haha)
Food was good pub food. No complaints. Beautiful relaxed setting. Does need a bit of a freshening up, but things cost money! Perfect place to stop with kids, would recommend.

Thought I'd treat the housemate n myself to a well deserved nite off n order take away dinner.
$98 for 2 rib fillets n 6 kilpatrick oysters... rib fillet was ok, chips were soggy, sad if that's wat ud call it n only got 5 oysters that were way overcooked dry n sickly to much bbq sauce.
Rang up to complain n got Amy who was rude n told Mr the 15yr old apprentice would of made my oysters I said wouldn't the head chef check b4 sending them out.
She tried to argue her point, which I don't know.
Will never do back n the owner if still the same should b ashamed of this place

So much potential, but a bit like grandmas, different areas all tacked on. Plenty of room if space was utilised. Needs a good clean, tables dusty, bird poo all over the deck, rust where extensions never finished. Very run down. Average food. What a shame with such a spectacular view.

Great country pub, meals are excellent and the wine list is OK, fully enjoy our occasional lunch there and would recommend it to everyone.

Thought we would try after we had been told the food was amazing only to find out no not amazing at all ,spent $160 on food we couldn't even eat was undercooked and overcooked very disappointing ? I've put 1 star only cause it wouldn't let me put 0 stars

Food was great.. nice atmosphere, a bit old and run down so could do with an upgrade to keep the old charm it has but with some modern fittings.. didn't even realise people could stay here ??'? we went here for an event

Mum and myself stopped in for lunch as we had been before and it wasn't to bad. This time was terrible. The schnitzels were passed cook almost charcoal black but apparently it was "cooked" yeah I know mate. Had the manager basically call us liers even though U could see they were charcoal. Lucky for one star

Lovely views, meals were very disappointing, we could not eat the pasta as it just tasted awful, the chips and gravy was very bland. For the ribs my friend got 4 little ribs for $38. Last time we came the food was amazing not sure what's happened in a few months.

We used to frequent the Versdale Hotel a few years ago, and recently returned to try again. The meals were once amazing however now they were just average. Donna served us and was simply wonderful.

This pub is just down the road from where I live. I was one of 26 others that decided to get together there. Our table was out in the alfresco area, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. The beer was cold and the food was fantastic. I had a schnitty which was cooked to perfection. The young lady that served us was friendly to a fault and, quite frankly, should be a supermodel. An opinion shared by all in attendance. Great lunch, with good friends, in a great venue.

Would 100% go back. Beautiful view on the deck especially with the sunset. Absolutely amazing food, my husband had the steak with bugs and garlic sauce, really nice and perfect amount of garlic. I had the chefs chook special, with avocado, feta and bacon. Amazing crunchy outside with beautiful moist chicken breast. And a really nice hollandaise sauce. Amazing. 10 out of 10 from us.

The Scotch Fillet steak & Moreton Bay bugs was fantastic.. highly recommend dropping in for a great feed ... Mrs has the wagu beef burger & won't order anything else .. Can't say any more cause we're both stuffed ... great view of landscape in daytime for a Sunday feed ..?

Worst stay ever. Stayed in room no 1. Which were were so dirty I just about backed back out of the room. There was a kettle but No cups or glasses and no coffee or milk. Spiderwebs everywhere. Dirt banked up in corners. Dust and stuff hanging on the curtain. Aircondition full of dust and webs. Smoke alarm dismounted.
Shower curtain mouldy and absolutely disgustingly dirty.
Toilet fan noise so loud you couldn't hear yourself think. Fridge full of grime and spills.
I paid $75 for the night. Cheap I know but not worth it. Be glad I can't post photos here ???-

The outdoor area needs attention also the does the pillow , the cook/chef didn't turn up for the lunch service but the 3 waitress staff kept everyone informed with the delay. If it wasn't for these three women , our party would have left these premises!!
Well done the the staff for handling this tuff time and they still kept their smiles shining....

Such a beautiful pub, surprisingly large. Great atmosphere. Our cheese and garlic bread was fantastic. Unfortunately our parmi's were burnt and dry, out salad had no dressing. Disappointing.

What a lovely place! I visited this homely little hotel for the first time and was wowed by the atmosphere and the food. We ate an amazing dinner while we watched the sun set over the rolling hills. The staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome as soon as you open the door.
I had the veggie burger and chips which was so yummy, and my partner had the pumpkin and feta salad with a side of salt and pepper calamari which was delicious. The size of the meals was well worth the price (which was very reasonable).
I will definitely be visiting again!

Good old hospitality displayed made for a very pleasant drop in.
Friendly and courteous even though they were setting up for a wedding.
Never neglected the patrons who were in the hotel.
Had a group of bike riders who called in adding to the pressure of trying to go about the job at hand.
To all the staff at the hotel a job well done.
Most importantly all patrons were made more than welcome.

Very disappointed and over priced. 1hr wait for 1 entree and 2 kids meals (they weren't busy) 1 1/2hrs later after asking about our meals: Steak ordered medium to well, came out medium to rare. Bangers and mash came out dry bangers, "chips" and hard peas. Pumpkin and Feta salad came out without pine nuts and hard - cold pumpkin and 1/2tsp feta. Chef wasn't impressed (rude) when I asked for the drinks and ice blocks that were included in the kids meals. Our last experience a few years ago was bad but heard there were new owners so we thought we would give it another go - bad mistake - never again!

Great little tavern. The staff were absolutely perfect. So caring, trusting and professional! Food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. 10 out of 10.

Staff were friendly but the prices for food were surprisingly high for the area and despite asking for a rare steak (and later clarifying that blue would be great if they could do it - which they said they could), it came out well done. That's not even a small cooking mistake in my view. Almost seemed intentional.

3x loved they're steak. Commented how tender it was considering its rump. My schnitzel was huge. Great pub food. Jumping pillow for kids, tons of space outside to eat overlooking beautiful scenery. Lots of staff around. Glad to have decided to stop.

Pulled in for lunch. Had their Reef and Beef, no flavour and a bit chewy. Meal quality definitely a lot lower than once was. Friendly staff. Ladies bathroom needed cleaning and toilet seats needed fixing. Needs a bit more care again.

I would love to highly recommended The Veresdale Hotel for their kind hospitalityand magnificent service. The atmosphere is excellent and their beer garden is a delight. The tranquility is very calming and relaxing. Do yourself a favour and visit this hotel on your next Sunday afternoon.

HQ Photo Booths recently did a photo booth and flower wall in this location. The place has a nice spacious entertainment out back and a huge bouncy trampoline for the kids. Staff were very nice and helpful to us throughout the night.
