Country Club Hotel Tooleybuc - Pub in Tooleybuc New South Wales

An unexpected gem on our trip back to Adelaide. We had the lamb and corn beef, both of which were delicious. The staff were great. Highly recommend the sticky date dessert with the homemade ice cream...finger licking good!!!

Finally after a decade travelling between Adelaide and Sydney there is now somewhere decent to eat outside of Wagga Wagga. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pub has an extensive menu of local produce (outside of seafood) a good wine list and good range of beer on tap. This pub used to be run down and lack lustre. It has recently had a beautiful renovation and also serves good food. For a Thursday night it was quite busy so the locals are liking it. On this trip you cannot find better outside of Wagga Wagga. I had a basic parmi and it was well cooked, moist, tasted good and too big for me to finish.

Fabulous modern venue. Upmarket decor, meticulously clean, this hotel wouldn't be out of place at any city or coastal location. Lovely quality food at reasonable prices. What a pleasant surprise to find this gem in little Tooleybuc. Credit to owner and manager.

Very enjoyable lunch in the beer garden. Chose from an interesting menu and had meals tailored exactly to our wants. One happy carnivore and one happy vegetarian! Thank you.

The chicken parmigiana is an absolute showstopper. The chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy and tender on the inside. The gluten free crumb is flavorful and crunchy, and the marinara sauce and melted cheese on top are to die for. This truly is the best chicken parm I've had, gluten free or otherwise.

And the Guinness? Perfection. Ice cold, with that classic creamy, rich flavor. Served in a frosty mug, it's the perfect accompaniment to the delicious pub fare.

But the real surprise is the accommodation. I wasn't expecting much, being it was so well priced but the room I stayed in was spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. I slept like a baby in the cozy bed after a long day of exploring the nearby countryside of New South Wales.

The Country Club Hotel is an absolute gem. With its incredible food, drinks, and lodging, it's the total package. I can't recommend it highly enough - whether you're just passing through or looking for a relaxing getaway, this place has everything you need and more. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a pint and a meal - you won't be disappointed!
