Shout out to the team at the Tower Hotel. We went down there for dinner this evening and both the food and the service were excellent. It's also very reasonably priced. It was my first visit back there in many years. Definitely worth checking out.

Con from the pokies room is an absolute legend. The way he welcomes patrons, watches and encourages wins as well as provides drinks and food is second to none. Thank you so much. The drive through service is also second to none with Con and the boys providing the best service and advice. Good parking and great friendly locals.

Went here for a party, bartenders were super fun, forgot to say goodbye but great service to them!

First of all, if this listing is for the pub, they have a restaurant area in the same premises, and the food comes from the same kitchen, so, anything you see here in my review you can get it at the pub too

I personally sat at the restaurant
The menu has lots to choose from: it has appetizers, salads, burgers, pizzas, pasta, risotto, and other mains, sides, kids menus, desserts...
Lots of alcoholic drink options indeed, beer, wines, and liquors
They have drinks specials, and food specials that change everyday
Personally I went for
- orange juice
- pear, rocket and walnut salad, with lots of walnuts
- linguine vongole, with lots of clams
- apple & rhubarb crumble
Every food item came in a generous portion , was yummy, and looked super good too (always a good sign to me, if they take extra time to make it look good, you can understand they care a lot about the taste)
The person in charge of attending customers, Gina, is lovely, very good first impression on my side, and I could see/hear she had returning guests, which she cared a lot about too
While the guys in the kitchen are well efficient too
With the same for served in both spaces, you can choose to eat in the restaurant if you want a relaxed place, or in the bar if you're more into meeting a crowd. Oh, and there's a terrace too
Basically, lots of options about the atmosphere you wanna get, and the food and drinks you wanna get, great food, nice presentation, friendly and efficient staff... highly recommended!

Had 3 x meals + garlic cheese pizza and the food was awesome. Partner said it was the best Parma he's ever had plus the dough on the pizza was perfect

Gina, the hostess, was absolutely fantastic. Never had I seen a service like that before. We had a group booking on Saturday night. She made sure everyone's order was correctly delivered. unexpectedly, and food was delicious!!

Have been going to The Tower for years, its a consistently good meal, decent value and the bloke who runs it is a really nice guy.

Good value for 25 buck steak and Pot deal. But otherwise nothing really to be happy about. Ordered Medium and got a well done steak. Little chips to come with. Almost an hour after i placed the order. It's ok to come alone, for a casual average lunch. Not for Friday group lunch and definitely not for Christmas team lunch, unless you have the half day off

What a great meal. We had the best Parma, great bottle wine (recommended by waitress), and a New York Cheese Cake to die for. Good value Parma @ $32 ... staff were friendly, will be back again soon.

Pretty average pub, but always a good one to show up too and have a couple beers. Food is pretty good and other customers are always up for a chat.

I can't believe the chef who is the BOSS says this beef is medium. It is well done. I could not accept $48 FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS. they were not even paid me back . What a dump chef.

I had the pleasure of attending a 30 year reunion at the Tower hotel on Saturday, the facilities were fantastic, the food was great and the staff were as inviting and engaging as you'd wish, a fantastic time was had by all, thank you so much Tower, you were the best.

Meals are fantastic. Staff are fantastic and service is spectacular. Frank is very welcoming and always happy and chats with us all the time. Best pub in hawthorn East.

The Tower Hotel has very kind, caring and understanding staff there and good machines and drinks

They offer a classy array of everything you'd want to expect

If you've had too much while they can't legally offer you anymore they are so courteous and generous still and polite, I urge you to reciprocate if that happens and continue to enjoy the pleasant ambience

Recently moved to the area and decided to go there for lunch, as I'd previously dropped in for a beer and the menu looked good. Arrived, and along with some other patrons had to wait 5 minutes to get served (wasn't even busy. Got served and ordered food. Anyway, after 20 minutes, still no food, went to the bar to order a beer and continue waiting, gave up on the beer after another 5 minutes and returned to my seat. Waited another long 10 minutes for food and ended up just leaving. Don't waste your time going here, head over to the Auburn Hotel, they'd never make these mistakes.

The Tower Hotel is a local institution. They offer reasonable prices, and excellent customer service. Joe, the owner, takes the time to get to know his patrons as does manager Con. Staff are friendly and personable. I have supported this business for a long time, will continue to do so, and recommend everyone to visit.

The food is actually really good quality. Not your usual pub standard food it's actually really tasty and high quality.
I'm fussy too so I definitely recommend this place.
They play the NFL on the TV here too so my husband is happy!
