Tudor Hotel Tamworth, Tamworth NSW

I never post a review, but I must comment on the low quality and lack of quantity in the Bistro.
Four of us all had a different meal and we all agreed that we would never return. 2 were locals and 2 visitors. A special celebration spoilt by a pathetic cooking attempt.

Had a very tasty meal at the Tudor last night. Wagyu steak, salad and mash 😋. Nice staff and service. I'll return.

Need to buy a meal to sit outside and have a beer, so we had the lunch specials. Chicken Wrap with chips for $15 was good. I had the pasta $15 and upgraded $6 for chicken. Small serve which you would expect for the price but limited chicken. Meal was nice and would forgo the chicken as no value in the upgrade.

Second time eating here in past 12mths, travelling for work. The food is consistent and nice. I was travelling so price wasn't an issue, on the surface seemed a little too much for a pub feed. I did find the the steak and veg were cooked very well and sauce was too notch too. Whilst I was really enjoyed the meal and the serving was quite large, the steak could have done with a little more char on top - minor complaint didn't spoil the experience.

Service was fast and friendly and when I visit again, I'll be back to try something else!

Top notch scotch fillet steak perfectly cooked. Chips cooked to perfection. Sauces amazing as were salad and veg. Bar and wait staff were all lovely. We booked for the bar and bistro - the only negative thing was it was very noisy - but probably because it was so popular. We had a lovely night and enjoyed the efforts of all the staff.
