Great country pub, great staff.. awesome food. Was our pit stop during the opening ride of the season and were surprised.The falafel salad was a veggie option, but left me in aww...fresh crispy falafel was just great.. a couple of drinks and we were on our way again.

Nice small town pub with very friendly staff and quite a few good value meal options.
Very surprised that it wasn't a lot busier for a Friday night

We enjoyed 2 scotch fillet steaks which were cooked to perfection and the meat was as tender as.
Could not fault the quality of their food or service. Fantastic Aussie country pub.

Typical country pub with the usual array or meals. The steaks are fantastic but even the chicken parmigiana is great.
Inside and outside seating with parking along the main street.
Several arcade games to keep the kids (and bigger kids) occupied.
Nice friendly atmosphere.

Wow. That's all i can say. Had a drink with the team. Staff and atmosphere, sensational. Locals were very friendly and welcoming. I didn't stay here but if the accommodation is anything like the host's, this place would certainly be up there. 10/10

Ordered starters and a couple of mains. One of the mains was a 300 gram scotch fillet which we ordered medium rare and specifically said that we were ok if it came out rare and bleeding but not overdone. We had anticipated having our starters and then ordering a bottle of wine to accompany our mains. Starters arrived and before we could even take a bite our mains arrived. Probably should have been advertised as accompaniments not starters. Consequently we didn't order wine. Also 300 gram scotch fillet wasn't much bigger than a 100 grams and was cooked well done and inedible. Close to $100 dollars in food for two and we left searching the town for somewhere to get something to eat.

Had dinner here with 2 others and had two mains each and a drink. Prices are as expected for pub food and quality was too. Nothing particularly stood out but everything was decent quality and enjoyable. We sat in the beer garden out the back in the summer evening. Would recommend if ever passing through this quiet town

Second time we have had a meal recently and again it was below par. Chips and salad were fresh several hours before we arrived. An indication that you will have a good meal is a busy pub.

Great meal for lunch. Extensive list of parmi's and your typical pub menu. Sit inside or out or upstairs balcony dining. Nice cold beer. Friendly staff

Great country pub. Ate there a few nights whilst in the area. The food was well above expectations and all the staff were friendly and good fun.

Food was great probably one of the best pub meals I have had in a long time staff were good fun would highly recommend stoping in there for a meal

Easily the best country pub I've stayed in. Great hospitality, friendly staff, great meals, cosy pub rooms.
We had no plans to stay in Tumbarumba, but the weather had other ideas. 4 of us turned up, no bookings, soaking wet after riding 180km in the rain and we were looked after from the word go.
The atmosphere in the pub was friendly, full of locals and the publican couldn't have been more accommodating.
Do yourself a favour, stop in this great little town. Everywhere we went on our short stay was welcoming.

Great out-of-the-way Hotel. Excellent service by super friendly staff, Old School Country charm where you can immerse yourself in local politics sling a bit of banter without being slammed, hear a few yarns about local charms, have an Ale then press on down the slow road.

Excellent restaurant.
Couldn't be happier.

What a great time we had here. Dropped in to watch the AFL Grand Final and got genuine country hospitality. Beer was cold and the meals were tasty. Thanks for a great night Sue and staff

We got there what we thought was a bit late for lunch, but lunch goes till 2:30, good on them for the extra half hour, we had a great meal and their drink variety is awesome. Great service by all, we will be back.

Thai food is to die for best I have had other than Thailand .Service was nice and the place was loverly

Never coming back rude publicans and staff showers still don't work as I read in a previous review from months ago enjoyed the rest of our time spent in the union and bowling club where the staff were much friendlier and the atmosphere much better I can't comment on the food as we didn't stick around long enough but if it is like the service it would be cold and bland

Fantastic atmosphere, excellent meals and cold beer. The Publican's are a lovely couple. Possibly the best country pub I have ever visited.

Sue (the publican) is just awesome. She made our visit. Great supporters of country / local musicians. Great food, highly recommended

Food was excellent. Service was great, warm and friendly and very welcoming. Acknowledged us the minute we walked in the door.
Definitely recommend going for a decent meal and good night out. Was recommended to us today.
