A great old school pub. Had a hoot with the band, stayed for the lamb shank and even took someone home.

Good food, cost on a cold night good whisky and the ability to hear myself think. Definitely worth heading to the Union hotel.

Wow! What a pub. I came on a Monday and met the loveliest bartender (Grace - I think her name was?). It makes me home sick for the lovely rural pubs in England I grew up with. Same vibe - it's a gorgeous local. Last word on the bartender: she was wearing a sick shirt with a dino fighting a croc. Also a great worker. I'll come again!

A classic Aussie Pub. Nice cosy atmosphere, friendly young barman, interesting selection of beers and great food. Unpretentious and relaxed. We loved it. I had the Seafood Chowder. It was lovely

One of the best band pubs in Melbourne, actually Australia. It has the atmosphere of a country pub, with terrific friendly service and a range of great bands playing Saturday and Sunday. The beer garden out back is family friendly to boot. Cheers
